*Deep Within, Mercy and Peace*

The period begins toward or in the evening of Thanksgiving. Friday is good for getting back to business if that is what you need to do; also for a happy time while the moon forms a sextile with Jupiter. Because that planet is retrograde, as is Mercury, you will be caught up in backtracking, that is, finishing up old stuff which either you have neglected or is becoming imperative by force of circumstances. Friday would be a good day for that. Those who do holiday shopping that day may be in a good mood. I myself would wait until Mercury goes direct beginning Thursday next week. That could avoid confusion in choosing gifts, or picking something inappropriate and returning it later.

When
you're done with important tasks, Friday could be a superb day or evening for relaxation and pleasure. People are feeling more interest in and attraction toward one another than usual.

Your benevolence and friendliness extend out from the home circle toward others, strangers, all. The spirit of Thanksgiving and Christmas is upon you. This has a good effect not only on your home, relationships and friendships but your work and attempts for income. Because Mercury is retrograde, you may feel that this trend, although inspiring, is not practical or is leading nowhere but in circles. Well, a circle of love, mercy and harmony is a happy circle.

True, there are crucial and even ugly factors to take care of. The world is not all sweetness and light. Something which you have to do, which requires work, and seems to be something like fending off an enemy, is needing to be done. Since the moon will be void-of-course all day Saturday, Friday would be the time. You can face this challenge with stamina and bravery. Then on Saturday, when you are able to do little about it, you may feel its heaviness, because it remains unresolved, but can take comfort in the fact that you are facing it with the spiritual support you rely on.

Some individuals seem selfish and voracious. That is a characteristic of the business world, of plutocracy, sometimes of government bureaucracy, and each of us living within such a culture has to find his or her individual way of dealing with it, for self-protection. You can do that without losing the spirit of goodwill and merciful understanding set forth in
paragraph 3.

Another trend, more difficult to describe, is a wonderfully sedate detachment. You have found a place within you which is linked with eternity and unbaffled by the illusions of the world, its allurements and sufferings. This is real. Here, in this place in your consciousness, nothing inharmonious can touch you. The changeability of human beings cannot disappoint you. You are secure, and you know that they, in their deepest selves, are secure.

Therefore you can face the darkness of uncertainty without fear. Complex factors in your life need to be handled thoroughly. You know this but do not feel you always have to work on them. Friday might be the time for that; then on Saturday you can gravitate to that place of inner security which transcends difficulties. When you see that all things have purposes beyond your initial understanding of them, you can rest secure in the knowledge that all will be well.
