~Unstrained yet Wise Preparation for Thanksgiving~
This period ends in the early evening of Thanksgiving. I would suggest that many who are having Thanksgiving parties might want to prolong the festivity into the later evening hours
in order to take advantage of the moon no longer being void-of-course
after it enters Aries (the beginning of the next period, time above).
This could be a time for simplicity. What is all the toil and bother about? you ask yourself. Why struggle and suffer for goals which, when attained, give no satisfaction but merely prompt toward further goals? And when those are attained,
what is the advantage? Therefore there can be a growing humanism in
you, a feeling that "we are all in this together so why not give up ambition and just live simply?". Of course this is a good attitude for Thanksgiving anyway.
It's appropriate that the moon goes void-of-course Wednesday evening, since that shows the 'business" part of the period to be done by then. It seems that "old business," things from the past requiring resolution, is what you wlll want to handle and get done as much as possible. To do that you need a certain fixedness of purpose, or otherwise you will slack off and meander in circles.
There is a secretive and revengeful side of you which, when you encounter it consciously, may surprise you. Secretly you would like to conquer
prizes which you feel others do not deserve. This, in sum, is a
semi-criminal tendency. Don't we all have it? Don't we sometimes find
ourselves rooting for the criminals in a "heist" movie? "These people don't deserve
this money anyway, so it might as well be mine." It's unlikely this
sentiment will drive any of us to criminal acts but it might be a part
of you to be noticed for whatever you can learn from that. It has a
childish side, as when a child innocently takes something which belongs to someone else, not understanding the concept of "theft." Of course, you could notice this in others rather than yourself. Laws of karma work themselves out in strange ways sometimes, which we may not understand until much later or in our next state of existence. A sense of proportion and humor can help.
Children
might come into your awareness in an interesting way. What seems easy
to understand about them may not be. Their motivations and thoughts may
be far other (and more complex) than you realize. Some of them have learned how to protect themselves from adult craziness adeptly, sometimes humorously.
I don't
like to say this, but there are signs that we (and therefore you) could
be careless and self-indulgent. The question is, how far is that safe? I
would say, reserve it for Thursday, which is a holiday anyway. Then you will protect yourself from improvidence on Tuesday and Wednesday.
You need to get approval from people, or someone, a client, employer, or government agency, in order to "get on with" your own program, it seems. That involves perhaps explaining past choices and actions. This does not have to be harrowing but may require forbearance. It is part of Mercury being retrograde--recalling, explaining or justifying past actions, or repenting of them sometimes. It might involve recovering something lost, or preventing loss.
Then when order has been established or re-established, you are ready to proceed more confidently. Of course, you do not proceed alone, and so will be conscious also of the needs of those with whom your lot is cast.
I hope you will enjoy (a mostly void-of-course--relaxed, let us say) Thanksgiving!

P. S. The
heading of the latest forecast said originally "Sun in Scorpio and Moon in
Pisces." That is correct for the beginning of the period up to a little
past the half-way point, but then the sun enters Sagittarius, on
Wednesday the 21st at 1:51p PT | 4:51p ET | 9:51p UT. Because it will be
there all day on Thanksgiving, I changed the online forecasts to "Sun
in Sagittarius and Moon in Pisces." It is noteworthy that Franklin
Roosevelt changed Thanksgiving to a sun-in-Sagittarius holiday. Before,
it had been celebrated earlier in November; he changed it to the 4th
Thursday. When it is the earliest it can be, as this year, still the sun
has entered Sagittarius by that day. And that is wholly appropriate
since Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet connected with Deity,
in some ways, and certainly with expansiveness, good will, and
thanksgiving.
