I can't give out pleasant Valentine's Day news. It is hardly a romantic day, or if you have one you will have to thank your own "lucky stars" and not the current set-up. Today and Tuesday are the |stressful or worrisome third of this week| and since Venus is involved in the hard aspects (forming a square to Saturn) love is, as I usually say at these times, "on the rocks." That could mean bruised or it could mean very cold. Forget the chocolates and flowers and write a sad ode to a lost love. If you want to celebrate with someone, why not postpone until Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday? Even tomorrow might be somewhat better.
The sun's conjunction with Neptune sometimes "takes the tar out of" people, that is, they feel like dreaming of another world somewhere in memory or fantasy rather than buckling down to work. All these conditions together suggest that today you should not be hard on yourself or anyone. The mysterious is trying to manifest itself and is creating mysterious conditions in which to do so.
You will struggle to be efficient, however, in investigating what holds you back, or finding how to work around it or take advantage of it. The fact that when things are specially hard they are preparing something better is hard to appreciate at the time, though easier to see afterward. Measuring things in a detached way could help. The unfamiliar could be dangerous, so I would not recommend straying out of your usual orbit. It is well to be carefully responsive to whatever you observe or learn, to avoid any pitfall.
At times it is well to just hold back and be quiet. Silence is a great blessing to those who rejoice in inward peace. That does not mean you give up your zeal for better things in your life; you develop internal calm and savvy which will bring them eventually. Career aspirations are strong, but to climb that ridge you need to prepare as carefully as successful climbers in their more limited realm.
People who observe you or are interested in you may be mysterious, as if you wondered if they were enemies or stalkers. They perhaps have not arrived at the serenity which accompanies real maturity. If you have arrived at that, you can let yourself be a calm guide to younger or less mature people who will appreciate that serenity as something they need to balance their insecurities. You have suffered the world's unkind winds and buffeting, and so have developed the grain of wisdom from which they may benefit.
When things are difficult emotionally, or friends separate, you may be drawn to other places, such as the orient, middle east, Arabic or Persian lands. The Arabian Nights can be a wonderful escape. A bit of magic in mind translates into saving magic in reality. Secrets of death and life come to those who face trials in difficult circumstances. You may be Sinbad or Aladdin, but let your adventures be homely and circumspect, and therefore safe.
