}Realistic and Calm Cooperation{
We sail toward a New Moon this evening at 6:32p PT | 9:32p ET | 2:32a(Th) UT. Before that, during the waning moon (and practically speaking for quite a while afterward) things can be lackluster or slow. I usually recommend extra rest at these times.
However, there are strong momenta toward friendship and the fulfillment of ambition. This is more likely something which takes care of itself than something you have to calculate or strategize. Many things may seem chaotic (as in Egypt perhaps) and you need to struggle at times to remember where you are or what you are doing. It is both courteous and prudent sometimes to let certain things drift rather than force issues. Things may look different after the New Moon.
There is savvy intelligence (Mercury sextile Jupiter) yet wariness about differing opinions (Venus square Jupiter). It is amazing sometimes how husbands and wives can have opposite political or religious views and still remain together. That is a Venus-square-Jupiter phenomenon. They suffer along and struggle along to tolerate and perhaps weakly understand each other, because something else holds them together. Today there is a strong desire for peace and harmony, and let us hope it will prevail. Rashness would not be helpful, even in the cause of revolution, but decisiveness might be.
People are trying to define themselves in terms of the groups or nations to which they belong. Sometimes those groups are in transition or there is transfer from one to another. One can be exploited by a group loyalty, in some cases, or one could exploit one's loyalty to a group. Reaching to the Highest, which ultimately transcends reason, requiring heart and soul force, one can see how both oneself and any group must bow to That, ultimately. Then one is absolved from conflicting loyalties.
Cooperation and friendship are based, now, on realism rather than romance. The latter may seem fitful and unreal. When some supports collapse, there are others being readied, even if the transition toward them requires slow alchemy. The wisdom of God is foolishness to men, said one preacher, so if you remain intuitively alert to what speaks from within, you may align yourself with what is higher rather than lower. Affirming love even when it seems absent is one way to obey the Master's first two commandments. Going back to the first sentence of this paragraph, one finds that love indeed is realistic, because it heals, harmonizes, and points the way.
Unearthing motives, and the reasons for one's choices, may seem too introverted or philosophic, yet it could, paradoxically, lead to broader, freer, less timid, more fearless participation in the social scheme, something good for all of us when we get too self-centered or self-preoccupied. The rose of personality blooms among thorns.
