~Well-Aimed Efforts and Pleasurable Rewards~

The stresses of this week may continue in peculiar unexpected ways. However, the moon is out of the Via Combusta, which affords some relief. While it was there, there was an earthquake in New Zealand, four Americans were killed by pirates, and a revolution rocked Libya (and most likely still does). Other more "normal" problems in the Burning Way are confusion, uncertainty and loss of morale. Today there should be at least partial recovery from that.

It might be easier now, and also Thursday and Friday, to organize your thinking and planning, and see where your life is going, as suggested in Monday's report. This is a good time for such activity, while Mercury moves to its conjunction with the sun at the center of this Bright Epoch.

Crucial and difficult factors are blended with happy ones so it is a peculiar day. You aim at things which require marksmanship, figuratively; let us disparage actual marksmanship if the targets are human beings; we have had enough of that for centuries and ought to be grown out of it. You can salvage what seems lost, gradually, by staying with your routine work at headquarters. Whether the military forces in Libya and elsewhere will be rampant or restrained is an open question which I shall not attempt to answer, but the moon still in Scorpio often signifies crisis situations. Trouble-shooting, appropriate at such a time, is the opposite of shooting human beings.

Running away from things is not the same as facing them, so being responsible requires honesty about what you intend to be doing. At the same time it is not necessary to be quarrelsome, even when opposing injustice, which is something going on everywhere now while Saturn is in Libra retrograde---rectifying old offenses through karmic law. Lessons you have learned prepare you for the future, maybe especially those learned through "hard knocks." When opposing old established government or administration, it is well to be as clear as you can about what you propose to replace it.

Documents or papers you work with can be put in perfect order. I have mentioned before that for most, getting taxes done by March 18 would be wise. Details such as that can be handled more quickly and with less chance of error during the Bright Epoch.

Today there is a potential of friendly, smooth relations between the sexes, with the moon sextile Venus, although other factors seem to interfere. Love transcends difficulties in magical ways. Union even with difficult individuals may be possible in various temporary ways in work or business as well. Commerce is blocked when people worry too much but there are ways of facing worries and getting past them.

The pleasurable part of the day could go too far. Because pleasure is such a great relief when things are hard, you could upset yourself by going too far, as in overeating, overdrinking or other overindulgence. You can be a little more circumspect than that, and thereby gain self-respect. Then the pleasures are rewards for what you are accomplishing rather than overweening ends in themselves.
