According to the idealistic metaphysics and therapy I believe in, promulgated by Mary Baker Eddy and then by many New Thought teachers and New Age guides and practitioners, we play a huge role in creating our own destinies and need to resist negative thoughts. When challenging symbols come up in these daily prognoses, I take them as clues that we need to do even more positive thinking to offset what might go wrong. Today we have "a funeral procession and an open grave, and a great concourse of people; great excitement." If one knows of someone in danger, extra prayers are indicated. The "fear of God" is recommended in some Scriptures as a way of getting ourselves attuned to the God who is Love when we ourselves are sufficiently loving. Then anyone we are worried about can be "a drowning man rescued," that is, we can bring safety to ourselves and others through "the inherent courage which constitutes a protection from the vicissitudes of life."
"A lamb at a distance from its dam, but looking towards her' is "one with strong filial affections who cannot be happy without someone to love or to cling to." Could that be all of us? Who has not cried out "Mother!" when in trouble or discomfort? Help may come at once, or comfort, yet we still need to be as patient and steady as "a tortoise." Then, to us, "all tasks are trivial, and hardships come as a matter of course; we are not dismayed by the prospect of long toil." Through "steadfastness, patience and endurance" we "attain to the position we have set out to gain for ourselves."
"A triangle" according to Charubel indicates "a variety of gifts, and force of character." One can "make one's mark in the world, commanding respect without assumption." One can do this in any location, even in places where there is active change or redevelopment, as in "a house-raising." Being helpful sets the stage for receiving help in turn. There is good will and mutual service.
