}Post-Mortem on Worries, Before the Ball{

Moon in Libra-->Scorpio
< moon remains in the Via Combusta
|Karmically serious, sobering, challenging third| of this week has begun (until Friday morning)
/moon goes void-of-course at 3:33p PT | 6:33p ET | 10:33p UT
until it enters Scorpio at 5:54p PT | 8:54p ET | 12:54a(Th) UT

A new Bright or Fast Hermetic Epoch (based on Mercury's cycles with the earth and sun) begins at approximately 1:09a PT | 4:09a ET | 8:09a UT (until December 29). It is now easier to see the likely results of actions and so plan effectively and put plans into effect.  (The Biden agenda of spending, loosely labeled "infrastructure," has been held up and rebooted countless times during the Dark or Slow Epoch and now, whether in its current form or drastically different, has a chance of being more wisely evaluated, rejected, modified or processed.)

"A bull pawing up the earth" has lasting anger and insists on his own way.  This could be one half of the voters in Virginia, and one of their candidates, in a much-watched gubernatorial race.  Likewise, pundits will be talking about it as if in "a dissecting room where medical men are engaged in a post-mortem examination."  Also, for today a Worldwide Walkout protesting vaccine mandates is in the offing!  This fits in perfectly with these two symbols.  In your own life you may be puzzling out why someone is angry or upset, and whether you or someone else is to blame.

Life goes on and we learn to keep up with it no matter what disappointments, like "a fat boy mowing the lawn."  It is healthy and competent to participate in society by fulfilling a role or duty, rather than sit on the sidelines and indulge oneself or complain.  Then, when the necessary sweat effort has been put in, one might be like "an old man seated beneath a shady tree, his head bowed in thought; a pilgrim."  One might have a love for the mysterious or abstruse, impressed with the unreality of things and the changefulness of human relations.  What are the eternal verities?  Disillusionment can lead to discriminative wisdom.

"A small cottage surrounded by a thicket" sounds nice, and can be, but the thicket could indicate a barrier against enemies so there could be too much worry about self-defense.  However, one can be prudent and resourceful, and thereby protected.  "An embassy ball" could show that one is able to meet all, whether seeming enemies or allies, in a less defensive, more consummative self-stability, with resulting self-display.  What could be more delightful than sporting with beautiful, important people amid cocktails and dancing?  Privilege is not wrong if it contributes something to group integrity.
