Moon in Sagittarius
|Karmically decisive third| of this week is with us (until Monday)

A sceptre surrounded by a crown. Distinction; offices of power and influence. Authority. b
The moon in her first quarter. Fond of change; a speculator. Too sanguine in expectation, but mostly fortunate. c
A beaver at work upon a tree overhanging a gorge. Work is a pleasure. Industry. b
Cross-swords. At variance or involved in quarrels and broils. c
Three men in a boat, two on one side, one on the other. Rivalry and opposition. c
A golden-haired goddess of opportunity. Reward. s
The field of Ardath in bloom. Continuity. s
The karmically decisive period, plus the tenor of the symbols, suggest that you may not find this a pure pleasure day but feel you need to finish or accomplish something. What is your particular "authority," the particular sceptre you wield and crown you wear? There are interesting changes connected with it ("moon in her first quarter," though now in actuality it is in the last) but you feel up for getting things done (the beaver says "Work is a pleasure!").
The crossed swords may be a divided loyalty in your feelings, as if you had to choose between one person or dedication and another. Maybe literally you are in a situation where two individuals on one side call to you to do something with them while another, on the other side of the boat, calls to you to do something incompatible. Difficult choice often goes along with the |karmic third| period. Yet the golden-haired goddess is with you and can guide you to the best trajectory, whether a compromise or a firm choice which eliminates the opposite. The logic of events will steer you to wise opportunity and its natural reward.
All this has an air of familiarity. You have been here before. So you should be able to handle all of it with poise gained through past experience. "Ardath" in Hebrew means a flowering field and was the name of an occult-spiritual novel by Marie Corelli. (I have yet to look it up and read it.) There is a sense of comforting inevitability in the day. Living goes on in ever-changing, never-ending vistas. The continuity of life and of your patterns of experience is reassuring.

Cosmic Piper
b: Signor Borelli, 19th century clairvoyant; interpreted by Sepharial who was Walter Gorn Old
c: Charubel, 19th century clairvoyant who was John Thomas
s: Sabian symbols which came through psychic Elsie Wheeler, interpreted by Marc Edmund Jones
The symbols and their interpretation are intended to apply basically during the hours from dawn to midnight. Often a planet will move from one degree to another during the day, so I use a time near mid-afternoon for all of them, so that they shall be exactly right during most, often all, of the daylight hours. The period from midnight to dawn could partake of the nature of either day or both.
