^Finding the Groove^

Moon in Aries
|Karmically decisive third| of this week continues
until it ends at 8:02p PT | 11:02p ET | 4:02a(Tu) UT

A large telescope pointing heavenwards.  A scientist or one gifted with clairvoyance. Perhaps a lover of sidereal studies.  c

The ground hog looking for its shadow.  Reassurance.  s

A man sowing in the wind.  Dissipation.  b

A chest floating on an open sea.  Placid and calm, perhaps careless. Sacrifices much for comfort and peace of mind. But when opposed, capable of irresistible force. Indifference.  b

A very long ladder, such as is used by fire brigades.  Ambition.  Lofty inspirations.  Indulging mentally or actually in grand speculations. A scholar who may do much towards the elevation and salvation of mankind.  c

A truncated cone.  Will rise to good position. Danger of cessation of fortune followed by vexations.  Should aim higher than meaning to hit, or remain contented.  Curtailment.  b

A very large disk consisting of circles of light with dark grey interspaces.  These circles resemble wheels within wheels, which I find on closer examination to be spiral, all revolving.  This symbol contains far more than I am able to express in words.  He may seek to do as others do, but it will not answer.  He is inclined to give up in despair, but just at that critical moment an inspiration fires his inner self, a new light develops, he gets out of those dark interspaces where he may have been floundering for years, on to the circle of evolving light.  Henceforth he is on his groove and is carried onward and upward.  c

I do not attempt to predict daily stock market fluctuations, but must say that today looks like a prosperous day in some ways, or a day when your finances could be worked out in some helpful manner. You know what brings you security.

The symbols are very powerful for me, for four of them happen to coincide with important points in my own horoscope, the moon and the ascendant.  It is usually better for an astrologer to refrain from commenting upon his own horoscope.

However, I got myself into this . . . The final two symbols apply to me almost exactly. I "rose to a good position" in the academic world but dropped out of college, and then later out of graduate school, although winning scholarships and fellowships.  I felt I had to do it for the sake of astrology, which was my huge interest but not compatible with an academic career (the "truncated cone") when the celestial science is universally regarded in the "academy" as a stupid superstition.  So I threw myself away from the academy's "dark interspaces" onto that "circle of evolving light" and although, as Charubel says, I may have fallen off, temporarily, I keep clambering back on. Voila! I had to try to be Cosmic Piper.

Today you may need reassurance (ground hog) that you are on the right path, but you can find that relatively easily (first paragraph above). You see where it would be foolish to "sow your seed," and so you turn to better things.

A secret of contentment is presented in the "chest floating on an open sea," the secret not of Indifference (which is how someone translated Signor Borelli's Italian keyword, not known to me) but of Detachment, or Vairagya in Sanskrit. As the Bhagavad Gita puts it, do your work well, offering it to G*d, and worry not over the exact result, leaving it to Him and Her.

There is much aspiration in the symbols, correlative to the moon's position in Aries, called by Dr. Jones the sign of Aspiration. Also, we have four planets in Pisces (a stellium), sign of Sympathy or of universal comprehension and understanding (the sign of the feet and of our spiritual foundations).

{Monday}   ^Finding the Groove^

Cosmic Piper

b: Signor Borelli, 19th century clairvoyant; interpreted by Sepharial who was Walter Gorn Old
c: Charubel, 19th century clairvoyant who was John Thomas
s: Sabian symbols which came through psychic Elsie Wheeler, interpreted by Marc Edmund Jones

The symbols and their interpretation are intended to apply basically during the hours from dawn to midnight. Often a planet will move from one degree to another during the day, so I use a time near mid-afternoon for all of them, so that they shall be exactly right during most, often all, of the daylight hours. The period from midnight to dawn could partake of the nature of either day or both.
