The strokes of lightning from on High which rend asunder

Pain of rejection. He does not wish to hurt, yet his vision
Cut into blindness to strike light no matter how painful.
His self-affirmation wins allegiance from those who sense
His inherent integrity, dramatized distinctions. He teaches
Through being himself and chanting what wells up inside.
