Impedes upon the dull for its glorification.
A child's concern for a bird is friendly and naive.
The waning moon suggests that the scholar retreat
To his study. A sculptor expands the vision of all
Through his painful craft. A disillusioned man has
Dropped old companions. He delves into his work,
Then stops to meditate upon a square chart
Of the planets. The harrow has cut down impediments
And left loose food for the birds loved by the child.
Amid the pressures of the Grand Square pushing us to complete old things (important in the Dark Hermetic Epoch extending through February and much of March), there are breaths of pleasure, invigoration, and randy delight, perhaps semi-erotic, as Mars enjoys a nonagen aspect with Venus and Pluto.
