/moon goes void-of-course at 8:23a PT | 11:23a ET | 4:23p UT

There could be tendencies toward anger or fighting especially in the morning. Some will feel pugnacious while suffering the stresses of the Grand Square in cardinal signs which has been with us a couple weeks and shall continue. Some will feel so internally "weirded out" that they will want to throw everything over, call in sick or play hooky, go gambling or drinking. The restlessness could be intense, abnormal.
Still, you could make contacts you need to make to reach a settlement with someone. This might seem impossible for a while or your place of refuge swept away temporarily. Whatever is no longer useful can be held in abeyance for now. Your tenacity and strength of purpose are real and will conquer seeming enemies eventually.
During the long void-of-course period, why not turn to celestial contacts, spiritual inspirations? That would help. One's veneration of the One has to be artificial sometimes, as a beginning; one "primes the pump" of devotion through a psalm, prayer or mantra which feels insincere but grows real with repetition. Then one can be contented doing what one needs to do, even cheerful.
Something you study grows more and more profound the more time you spend with it. The author becomes a partner working with you mentally and perhaps practically. Some things in your life may seem dilapidated, otiose, impossible to use successfully. It is a question whether you have to give them up, repair them or wait for a change. Someone seemingly unavailable may yet be an agency for securing what you need. Meanwhile, giving wisely could be a boon.
There are tendencies toward speedy indulgences of appetites and passions. This could be an "Oh, who cares?" attitude which goes too far, maybe toward drinking or recreational drugs. Disappointments may seem real, and therefore wise escapes from them are therapeutic, so long as unwise escapes do not mar the day pointlessly.
{Wednesday} *Retaining Sanity*
P. S. The cold snap, intense as I write on Tuesday, is interesting astrologically. Over the years I have seen the coldest winter weather occur during the hard aspects to Saturn. A supplement to this is a lot of planets in the two winter signs, Capricorn and Aquarius, ruled by Saturn the planet of cold. That is what we have now, four planets (a stellium) in Capricorn, and they are besieged by hard aspects from the other three cardinal signs. Apparently the square to these Saturn-ruled planets from Mars in Libra functions as if it were a square between Mars and Saturn, productive of cold in winter months. Meanwhile all these oppose or square Jupiter in Cancer, a summer sign, he being retrograde or going backward--in Cancer the sign of the home, where most would like to be these days!

Sun in Capricorn; Moon in Taurus; Foci in 4, Foundations and 9, Comprehension
|Karmically difficult or sobering third| of this week begins at 2:07a PT | 5:07a ET | 10:07a UT (until late Saturday evening, almost three days, longer than usual because of the moon's speed)
\Prosperity with Repercussions/
Lunar testimonies are mixed; it appears to be a quite good business day even if the |difficult third| makes for sober or serious feelings.
Any misjudgments you or others have made can be met by "keeping on keeping on" with your assigned labors. They are good for you, and you sense that deep within yourself. If you have places to go you can be speedy despite any delays which have to be faced. It sometimes seems hard to make a living, but no matter what, your efforts are not degrading but ultimately uplifting.
Some part of what you had planned to do may seem impossible, because of circumstances. Yet you sense that there is prosperity for you within these circumstances no matter how daunting. What cannot be done now can be done later. You may sense that some individuals are merely lazing through life and using the labors of others. You do not want to imitate them. You may receive patronage, but you want to be worthy of it. Some who communicate about abstruse or occult topics may seem to be mere charlatans. It is possible to discern the genuine amid the spurious.
Shopping might be interesting, even if uncertain--you window-shop, as it were. There could be danger of an unwise choice, yet you are filled with wonder at something wonderful you could acquire. Someone with true good will, who loves his work, is likely to assist you and be an inspiration.
There is satiety when you have had enough of something--maybe in eating or drinking. Too much could make for repercussions. Yet camaraderie can be interesting. You see people acting out their impulses and imitating one another, reflecting one another, which can be either repugnant or pleasing depending on their and your mood.
Some may, quite surprisingly, give up on New Year's resolutions and turn to self-indulgence. This is fun! It makes them feel, however, that they need to discipline or train themselves as if they were their own son or daughter. Their respite from self-control was thrilling but shaming. And so they want to anchor themselves in something which proves they are not just enjoyers but craftsmen in their own special way.
