\Adventures Properly Modified or Restrained/

The master of a harem scatters his choice. People are somewhat unsure of their choices. There are more choices than they can handle yet they remain enthusiastic. Some are restrained so that others can have prerogatives.

They relax at a backyard pool. Some study rings of light in the sky. Some are easy-going and relaxed, content at home. Others are "way out there" studying things the populace does not comprehend.

Chanticleer flies through the barnyard like a comet. Some sing loudly who they are. Nobody knows why they have made their choices. They affirm themselves and get attention.

Sailors eagerly await the next port. On the captain's seat a dog lies asleep. There is a desire to rove, and experience the next romance life may offer. Some pretend to knowledge and skill they do not have.

On the path of Moon River he pretends to be angry, assuming a mask, while his companion tranquilly sings. When absorbed in contentment, people feel safe to present feelings they usually hide, in a mocking humorous way.

A girl and her grandmother discuss the latter's wig and gown. The generations need each other, but often resent that fact and the burden of tolerance it entails. When the law curtails young folks' actions, compromises can be bitter.

An old man in a gown and skull cap tabulates results of his group's weight-loss experiment. They had fun overeating. Then came satiety. Observation and research sometimes conflict with immediate desires. There could be good results from careful observation and systematization.

Thursday 5 September 2013

Sun in Virgo, Assimilation; Moon in Virgo, Purity; Fortuna in 1, Identity

New Moon of Virgo at 4:37a PT | 7:37a ET | 11:37a UT

Moon on course

\Preparedness/

1 In slow traffic he watches everything, drivers and license plates and girls. The variety of life is fascinating. It may be inconsequential what you look at as long as you are alive, alert and learning.

2 Above the swimming pool, a golden ball sheds mystical rays. It is easy to relax and "trip out" or let the glories of life's subtle mysteries suffuse your consciousness. You may wonder what this does for you in any practical way.

3 The lopsided butterfly manages to fly, its fascinating course unpredictable. People are muddling through with finances and love, not knowing what to expect. The unforeseen need not upset everything even if it seems dire at first.

4 One wears a golden, the other a tinsel crown. Their swords are crossed. The genuine and the presumptuous are not at peace. You choose between them of necessity. Could the pretender cast his tinsel crown at the other's feet, all might be well.

5 The miner's task is laborious, dangerous and just. The jester cannot mock his dignity. We were supposed to celebrate the laborers of the world on Labor Day. They hold it all together. Those with more superficial roles have a different value, to lighten us up.

6 A lion's head is seen beyond the trees. The fat prey are food for her cubs. Each breed has its form of satiety. Some overeat, get "fat and sassy," and defend themselves.

7 A mature woman and a teenage girl spar beneath threatening clouds. If "pride goes before a fall" that can be partly because the prideful one makes enemies, partly because she is overconfident. It can happen in inter-generational conflict as well as elsewhere.

Just after the New Moon, it seems we are sizing things up. What is essential, and what can be dispensed with? Something you do which is original or very much your own takes precedence in your hopes and wishes. It can bring together home and some other place of work in a network which functions well for you.

  1. Just a note... if you are asking for preference.

I prefer reading the poetic symbolism as a group prior to reading the prose interpretations. As separate parts to the same forecast, I am amazed at how the symbolistic information has as much stand alone emphasis as the prose.
