~Ready to Move On?~
I have to keep pounding away at the Hermetic Epochs because they are so all-important. They are hidden away, not obvious, yet the moment one studies the two-month periods they mark out one sees what they mean. We enter a Bright Hermetic Epoch today! It lasts until October 1, when the next Dark Epoch begins.
First, the past couple of months since June 10: Backtracking, pondering the past, over and over. This has been especially true of court cases. They went on and on and on. The Zimmerman trial was a media circus (too much of one) with constant back-and-forth confusion, the two sides both claiming that a tape of the final moments of the incident made audible the voice of their protagonist--the Martin camp said it was Trayvon's voice calling for help, the Zimmerman camp said it was George's. And nobody knew for sure?!! Sometimes the Dark Epochs are dark indeed. Anyway the jury decided it was Zimmerman's voice, apparently. And all of this re-hashed endlessly; and even after the jury decision, more and more commentary and protest. Finally, as if an epilogue, Zimmerman stopped for speeding in Texas--and I for one can hardly wonder that he had a gun in a state where it is legal, since many apparently think he should be dead. But I really am tired of this case, as are all of us. My point here is that in the Dark Epoch we are re-hashing and re-living things, trying to get a grip on the past as well as the present so we can finally go toward the future. Are we ready?
Then the Bradley Manning case, which has dragged on and on, also came to a semi-conclusion a few days before the end of the DHE, with a verdict finding him guilty but not of the most serious charge. He has yet to be sentenced. Then in the same week, this past week, Ed Snowden finally got asylum in Russia, and some semblance of a place to live (hardly a real home I would guess) for a while. His enforced hold-up at an airport hotel in Moscow began, of course, during the The Dark Hermetic Epoch--which, folks, is winding down! Whether also the situations in Egypt, Syria and elsewhere will now tend to normalize or at least be less constantly re-cycled and re-invented remains to be seen but generally things get back to a more normal (even if not totally felicitous) footing in the BHE which begins today. It is possible that the Palestine-Israel discussions or negotiations initiated by Obama-Kerry last Monday (the day of the very rare Grand Sextile or Shield of David configuration) got off to a good start, since now the BHE will shine upon them. We can hope.
So the question for each of us could be, are we ready to move on? Are there things you have been wrestling with for the past two months which at least have now some tentative answer or resolution, so that you can move on to the next phase of your life? I hope this will be true for all of us.
1 Stage: Much could be thrilling or exciting; the life-force is powerful. Old things become new if one chips at them a little to eliminate what hid their majesty.
2 Focus: There can be success and advantage through steadfastness and benevolence. There could be quietude in a happy place. You as well as friends have a lawyer-like side which sees into deception or conniving, and manages to eliminate threats in a way which is harmonious or reconciling rather than abrasive.
3 Concern: A patient and laborious side of you has been in evidence and still is although you can give it some rest in places which are happy and interesting to you. Who gives you shelter and comfort? In some way you do the same.
4 Ado: People see religious matters differently. Yet there does not have to be harsh conflict. When the beauty of a religion is shared no one can argue. You may visit someone who likes to stay at home, or someone may visit you. An easy-going trend emerges.
5 Issue: There could be contentment in a place surrounded by the glories of nature. Then there could be satiety, fulfillment--which means that one is then ready for something else . . . Hopefully the satiety will not result from overeating, a possibility with the moon conjoined to Jupiter in Cancer and both well-aspected by soft planets Neptune and Venus.
6 Resolution: Things can be shared, that is, experiences if not material things; and there is an abundance to share. Much of this is charming and graceful. Some will appreciate it; some may not; but one's own appreciation is enough and can be infectious on invisible levels.
7 Essence: There is devotion, to an ideal at least, perhaps to a person or one's ideal of a person even if the actual individual falls short. Therefore one's inclination to share and to grab hold of what the other shares is beneficent--productive of mutual appreciation.

Bulletin: I see the State Department has issued a travel warning for August (for mostly Africa and the Middle East) because of intelligence on terrorism threats. Probably it was a wise move although my personal view is it might be premature, based on last week's harsh aspects of Mars with Uranus and Pluto which are now beginning to fade, as well as the sun-Saturn square which is now fading, and the BHE is beginning--so let us hope this warning will prove unnecessary even if justified.

~Prudence Plus Childlike Freshness~
I predicted here that it was likely that Ed Snowden would find his situation improve by July 23-25. That was based partly on the fact that Mercury turned direct on the 23rd and partly on a horary chart I did. That was experimental, because theoretically one is not entitled to do a horary chart on another person's situation unless asked by that individual. I did it as an experiment because the whole world was wondering what his fate might be. It was not far off. Six days after the 25th, July 31, it was announced that he had obtained asylum in Russia; and on August 1 that he had a job offer there. If I had said "somewhere between Mercury turning direct and the end of the Dark Hermetic Epoch" I would have been right.
I also announced way back at the beginning of the DHE in early June that we would see many resignations during the Dark Hermetic Epoch (which ended Friday August 2). Morsi of Egypt is gone (a forced resignation); Ahmadinejad of Iran is gone; Berlusconi of Italy is headed to prison.
1 Stage: Careful, prudent planning is a hallmark of the Bright Hermetic Epoch (August 3 through September 30). You may encounter someone proud and peevish whose tastes are artificial. But you have a sense that your ship will come in and so you feel ready for the future.
2 Focus: You want to do and be what is right in your own mind, your principles. You see that laws and orderly arrangements are necessary to keep the world and people in shape and you support them when they make sense. It's easy to see into motives of young people.
3 Concern: A tendency to drift and relax may be just fine for a Sunday. On the other hand, activities which build up your fate, fame and fortune are important to you so you may want to pull yourself away from sheer relaxation to attend to them in a continuous successful manner.
4 Ado: Aspirations are higher than energized ambitions. You may dream of high accomplishments while resting.
5 Issue: Ease and satiety are temptations. Just eating and drinking could be fun. Where it leads is something to consider. You can be modest yet steadfast in what will make you content. That includes some effort as well as enjoyment of richness.
6 Resolution: When you think of what someone else needs as well as what you need, things get better. There is a lot to share. People's outbursts are more expressions of something stirring in them than real anger. They feel "Let's get this show on the road" and don't want to be hindered and so could erupt passionately.
7 Essence: The soul is eternally fresh. People are therefore ingratiating. Their inclinations may be carefree but pure and childlike at base. At the same time, you are aware of prudent activities which will prepare you for later stages of life and make them secure, prosperous and pleasing to young and old relatives and companions.
