~Freedom Within Understandable Boundaries~

The wildfires, which began late Friday in Grammatikos, 25 miles northeast of Athens, have destroyed homes and forced thousands of residents to evacuate. On Monday, several fires flared up in areas that had been considered under control, including in the seaside town of Nea Makri. (New York Times)

I don't care if the skeptics say this is coincidence, I have seen it happen too many times to doubt that the ancients knew what they were doing when they designated the last half of Libra and first half of Scorpio "the burning way." Usually, of course, it is a psychological matter; you may feel that your confidence has "burned up" and you don't know where to turn. Or it can be merely lesser irritations and loose ends.

A happier side of Tuesday could be restored confidence about your dwelling place, home, or private area; a sense that you are free there to explore interesting possibilities. You might consider a way of making a space more public, or settling something about accommodations for a group.

Your personal freedom also seems an important matter. Just running off and cavorting as you please might be what you want to do for a while, to assure yourself that you are indeed free.

You feel good about yourself when you are able coolly and calmly to protect or aid someone younger who interests you.

Patience with yourself is crucial when it comes to training yourself so you can do work well and gainfully.

Mercury square Mars is impatience, but that same planet sextile Venus is pleasure in taking your time with things to enjoy every facet of them. So you may be stranded between these attitudes at times. You want to be quick, to satisfy important people or an employer, but also to do everything with esthetic awareness.

You are fair and honest about things because you know it is in your best interest to be just that. You may feel you are jumping and bending over backwards at the behest of people; sometimes this feels good and sometimes oppressive perhaps. Eventually honesty plus the laws of karma will settle things in your favor.

Friends or partners who are disappointed with the current phase of their lives may not let on exactly what is bothering them. They are trying to build up faith in the next phase of their living, having seen that some things they had valued too highly need to be downplayed so that more important values can be emphasized.

By the late afternoon-evening period indicated in paragraph 1, you might be ready to sit down and ponder what has been troubling you since Sunday with deeper, clearer perspective and get realistic answers.

You feel sympathetic toward family and closest associates. You see some of their problems, perhaps disagreeing with how they handle them, but you will be with certain people for the long haul and want to make the best of it for the sake of your happiness.

That could be a cure for the impatience of Mars's aspects (in a Grand Square). Yet you do treasure your freedom, so will want to fit it in with the well-being of others to whom you are close, without being stifled. This is an art form you are learning.
