~Steady~

One problem of my quick summary of Sunday, in Saturday's report, was that I did not set up a chart for the day and merely glanced at the lunar aspects. This was a mistake because I did not note that the moon was in the Via Combusta on Sunday (and it remains there today, Monday). As I write on Sunday, I can testify that the "good" lunar aspects of the day, increasing in the evening, were there but obscured by the Via Combusta which I felt as a lack of morale, a de-energizing, dis-inspiring influence. A friend with whom I had a long conversation was feeling it even more strongly. It is the reason this report is being posted several hours later than usual.

So we have to watch out for that on Monday as well. The world, and your life, are not falling apart, no matter how things seem. It is true that you have some responsibility for holding them together, but trusting to G*d is perhaps even more important, so that you do not succumb to despair or destructive moods.

Personal attractions to a neighbor, someone nearby, or co-worker, could be strong yet inconclusive and uneasy. There is no reason to make more of them than icing on the cake. You may feel you want to drive or whip some such individual toward a better way of living. It's possible you feel restrained or held back by association with this individual even though there is something you like about her or him.

You seem on the verge of using your powers, influence, and magnetism to mesmerize people in a way to your liking, with potent results in friendship and communication. This happens under circumstances where there is much intrigue, that is, secrets uncovered or sought out, as if in espionage.

You are resolute in determining what is for the best in your personal scheme of things and controlling or training yourself to "make it" to your goals. The self-mastery involved does not chagrin but challenges you. Respect for the other beings involved, whether human or animal, is part of the process.

Discriminating between the true and false is a gift you can use powerfully. You will not put up with insincerity or hypocrisy in people without protesting, at least within your own mind. So you bring greater depth to your and their world-orientation.

Someone who travels, or comes to visit you, or you her or him, is going through a process of clearing away regrets and disappointments. So you assist by helping him or her to sense lasting values which will support enthusiasm for life when more trivial desires fade away.

The wary nature of the day may bring you close to someone who has a designing nature, persuasive of you along certain lines, and you may not understand the motives behind the persuasion. So you are on the brink of succumbing, then pull back, then are not sure. This could be dangerous if it goes too far toward involvement in something which could either hurt you or waste your time and life-energy (which is a less obvious form of hurt).

Laws of karma work slowly but surely. We feel restrained by one another because desires clash, and mutual necessities, such as keeping the world in shape through work and business, require more from us than we always want to give. It is safer to do your duty contentedly, without hurry or worry, than to try to escape it through devious means suggested by others who are also seeking escape rather than wise enlistment in the world-project we all need to support.
