~Trustworthiness~

The times of the ||retreat third of the week were given yesterday; briefly, the whole weekend until Monday morning. You may sense what that means especially today. Privacy may be what you need. The essential fact of social reality is that people are different, and these differences, while often enjoyable or amusing, can be jostling, irritating and wearing. My particular way of dealing with that during the ||retreat third of the week is to stay away from most social engagements or party-like situations, unless I feel a definite need for one of them because it seems an obligation or else a very deep need of the soul. Duties of course should be performed as usual, although even there sometimes less is more.

A woman in a position of authority could be significant to you, as if communicating were important even if somewhat mysterious or indirect because the issues at stake cannot be stated directly at this point. Her life-force is intense and wanting to produce something good even if delayed for now.

You can give yourself credit for having provided security or comfort for many who have been dependent on you, and that feeling of worth can tide you over a period of doubt.

There are issues of ego between friends. You think someone is egoistic and he or she thinks the same of you. There is no reason to expect recognition, approval or gratitude at this point. Grudgingly you may admit that you are linked with each other on some level, but your contacts are precipitous or chilly.

You do not have to "bring someone down to size" because most likely he or she will get the message from the world at large, or laws of karma, that his substance does not back up his bombast.

Studying something occult or profound could be what will uplift you. I wish people would spend more time with Theosophical books, extending way back to the works of A. P. Sinnett who successfully launched Theosophy into its public orbit (with of course the inspiration and knowledge of H. P. Blavatsky). A revival of 19th century occult information seems what the 21st century is drastically missing. Despite our technology, we are not as smart as we think.

Right-brain artistry is a form of intelligence, facilitated while Mercury and Venus sit in a sextile arrangement.

When there is rivalry or opposition, taking it as a game might put it in perspective so you do not obsess about it worriedly.

People get individually slanted views of everything, including esoteric truths; right about this and wrong about that. Bearing that in mind, you can adjust your conversation appropriately, avoiding going over a deep end with anyone whose half-truths could be more influential than they merit. However, elegant mystery has its own esthetic value.

When you represent something lasting and reassuring, many will lean toward you for shelter or support. But today they will be somewhat suspicious no matter what you say or do, even while appreciating your sturdiness covertly.
