My mind, and many minds, are given over to politics, but I may comment on that in the weekend report.

A nomadic warrior is ready for the fray,
Involved in strifes and quarrels, resorting to
Force rather than reason, wounding or else just
Giving offense. Others by contrast are reading on
/
Davenports, contented and happy in luxury.
Their relaxation sustains their aspiration within
repose. Two of them play cards together, given to
The hazard of speculation in jovial spirits, venturesome
/
And cheerful. The chance and change of the game is
Enough of a challenge for the day, curing
Despondence. On the table are cups or goblets
From which rays of ruddy light are emitted.
/
All are generous and humane, eager to befriend and
Comfort one another in spiritual loftiness.
