There is plenty of beauty surrounding you in one form or another. The natural world teaches its wisdom to those who contemplate the wavering of leaves and boughs in the breeze. You feel you are guiding or leading your "flock" or the people who depend on you for one thing or another. There is the image of a centaur, or a person with animal passions yet human ideals, who may simulate others' virtues and vices in a changeful manner.

The impact of outstanding, notorious or interesting people gets you moving to think about your own ideals of human behavior. If only more would study the horoscopes and planetary interactions in them of famous people, the lives of themselves and their friends would also become clearer. This will happen some day and usher in a new era of human understanding. The media and the academy do not help by caricaturing astrology rather than studying to appreciate it.

An arrow passing through a cloud of smoke suggests remaining true to one's direction despite obscuring factors which may seem to sully one's career temporarily. We may worry too much about how people think of us. Rather if we are concerned about how well we are doing in our honorable work, we will escape pointless anxiety and pour our energy into doing well what we aimed at wisely. The "cloud of smoke" might be the void-of-course period which lasts much of the day.

Vain projects which go contrary to the advice of others have their appeal and one may get drawn into them, wasting one's time or opportunity. Rather, one could advance one's responsible abilities, as "a professor peering over his glasses" advances his ego by trying to be superior to all in his special area. However, if this becomes snooty or depreciates others, perhaps the "man sowing in the wind," or trying for something more impossible than conventionally prestigious, is what we would rather be. The void-of-course period offers an opportunity to choose between these or try for a little of both.
