MOON CONJUNCT SATURN ALL DAY, making it |Karmically difficult third} of this week--watch for sour moods or depression, do dutiful important things
[This last was missing from the first post.]

Astrology is amazingly complex and amazingly amazing in its truth. I have been struggling with several, nay many, methods for decades and finally believe I have the best attainable daily methods (daily charts for everyone as well as for the 12 sun-signs) and fortnightly methods (fortnightly charts based on a secret formula which will not be secret some day most likely; they too are good for everyone in the world at once and for the twelve sun-signs). I completed, so far as I can at present, my research for this latter just yesterday.

And then went out to celebrate by taking my charts with me, and my phone, and sitting in a sports bar which has excellent food and drink at happy hour. And while eating and drinking, pondering the current charts for the current fortnight.

I can see a lot of things in these charts. I seem to find it easier to see what is going on in other people's lives than in my own. A Scorpio friend's current situation seems much clearer, and more interesting to me when I look at this fortnightly chart. But when I look at it for myself (Aries) I find it somewhat unclear. It always seems that one can see things better for others, in astrology, than for oneself.

The symbols, Sabian and Charubel-ian, are highly suggestive of exactly what most have been experiencing. This was the two-week period in which Kavanaugh was finally confirmed as a Supreme Court justice, with all the bitterness that caused. It was the fortnight in which the stock market began a precipitous fall. It was the fortnight in which Hurricane Michael hit the Florida Panhandle area which was quite disastrous for many folk living there.

Among the symbols are: A boat landing washed away. An electrical storm. A party entering a large canoe. A drowning man rescued. A popularity that proves ephemeral (Kavanaugh or perhaps Blasey, or ourselves). Those were some of the Sabian ones. From Charubel: A coal pit, the machinery at a standstill, the plant in a dilapidated condition. (Trump is trying to revive the coal industry; this also suggests the ruins of the storm and maybe the Market.) A woman sitting on a tombstone in the act of weeping. A woman standing on the head of a serpent (women taking back their bodily security from males symbolized by the serpent). A soldier going through his drill (the two American political parties, and the two sexes, almost in warfare). A large figure 2:  Will live alone, isolated mentally; not in sympathy with the present state of things. However, also A lamb away from its dam but looking towards her, signifying a need for someone to love or cling to. This is suggestive of Mars square Venus dominating the fortnight, the closest aspect in the chart. We put on a good face but do not have easy or comfortable relations with one another. And pine away, or just feel irritated that all seem so unreasonable.

The next fortnight arrives on Tuesday the 16th, a few days from now, in the middle of the day. More about that later. It is not without its challenges, but we are not victims of the planets. We can instead be learning  how to dance with them rather than stumble and fall. At least the square between Mars and Venus will be gone, and a trine (good) between them will begin to form early in November, then disappear after Thanksgiving, return before Christmas, and reach its peak in January. No promises, but the holiday season should be much less straining or draining emotionally than the past month.
