Persons in business may seem cantankerous, absorbed in their own stuff: careful and accurate tabulation. You may feel summoned to carry out some mission, quietly and privately, amid somewhat dilapidated conditions. 

It's a significant time, because hostile or malignant powers may seem to be intruding on you or hampering your activities. Getting extra rest is normal during the final days of an Old Moon (the New is tomorrow morning). You may feel you have spilled or spoiled something through faulty judgment or instability. Something dangerous which someone or yourself has done may end up being safe despite a scare or worry.

Accomplishments and gifts impel you toward wandering or traveling, yet you may feel this is pointless. Perhaps it is better to be modest in your hopes, finding comfort in something safely at hand. You can sing happily to yourself and know the world is singing with you, rather than seek an audience.

There could be amusement with music, dancing or other entertainment. It's no big deal but refreshing. Honors come through suffering and work, and you are conscious of that, but some inner work can go on even in the midst of pleasure. The garden of desire is in prospect. We feel impatient to get there. Dreams are enhanced. For now, coasting is better than running.

P. S. The festival of Shivaratri occurs on February 24-25 this year, along with the New Moon of Pisces. February 25 is also the birthday of Meher Baba. He called himself an Avatar and his major teaching was Love for God and humanity and everyone and all. Surprisingly, or amazingly, he was a house-guest of Marc Edmund and Priscilla Jones (Dr. Jones, world-famous astrologer, founded the Sabian Assembly) during his 1932 visit to Hollywood. In the West, Meher Baba met with a number of celebrities and artists, including Gary Cooper, Charles Laughton, Tallulah Bankhead, Boris Karloff, Tom Mix, Maurice Chevalier, Ernst Lubitsch and others.^[45] On 1 June 1932 Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. held a reception for Baba at Pickfair where he delivered a message to Hollywood.^[46] As a result, Meher Baba emerged as "one of the enthusiasms of the '30s". He was also popular among many young people and musicians (such as Pete Townshend) in the 1960s, before his passing in 1969.

~Rarefaction of Desire~

There could be virulence, passions, lusts. These come with a warning hidden within them which it would be well to heed. Past experiences constitute one's personal research into the results of unbridled impulses. One should not gamble away one's psychological reserves. Eagerness for life can manifest through skills and talents. 

A place of entertainment could be pleasing, no matter how chaotic it may seem when people get over-exuberant. But dignity and honor come through work or exertion. There are frontiers ahead, and dreams are enhanced. Where is the real "garden of desire"? Meher Baba would say that it can only be entered by the one who loves selflessly. Then desire rarefies into spiritual fulfillment.
