For ritualistic Christians this is Ash Wednesday, first day of Lent leading to Easter on April 16. Repentance means letting go of thoughts and feelings which hinder clear, light, sattwic spiritual consciousness.

There is plenty of impetus toward that in the stars, with the sun exactly conjoined to Neptune in Pisces today. Meher Baba, a sun-sign Pisces, gave out one of the finest prayers for repentance ever and his followers repeat it frequently. (Too mechanically, often, I am afraid, which is a problem in all religions and paths.)

I have often said that the hard aspects of Sol and Neptune produce a desire or need to sleep or rest, to dream a little. That seems true; but this time, concurrently, Mars is conjoined to Uranus in Aries, with Venus not far behind, and the moon also there today. This high energy, almost electrical in nature, which many have been feeling in the past week, is still with us. It can be disruptive and uneasy, or stimulating and productive. It can be irritable, and one may find oneself at odds with people, yet the Pisces planets cool the rage. 

Aries is "me first"--I know what I need, what I want, and I am right, and I am going for it. But the Aries planets are opposed to Jupiter in Libra, retrograde--there are other people involved, and they have their own sometimes backward attitudes, as well as their natural rights, and so they are a brake on the Aries energy. There can be resulting frustration. 

If you cannot do what others do, but are on a path of your own, you may find it circling round and round in dark spaces, then surging into the light. Systematic accounting, study and research are helpful. You may feel you are being prepared for some kind of initiation. Do you qualify? Your claims require you to justify them.

If one is destined to rule or command, one has a charisma which convinces others of this. One may be strong and independent, but should not be tyrannous or unjust. Sexual impulses may be intense, leading in revealing directions one would not have anticipated. One needs to invoke wisdom as proper restraint.

A desire to travel is not wrong if intelligent constraints go with it. One might be disappointed with a destination one had treasured, and curtail one's visit. One's own fervent role attracts deserved attention wherever one may be. 

You may encounter a vagrant or beggar who leaves a lasting impression. You might feel you need temporary shelter somewhere as if a homeless person. You feel famished or deprived of companionship until you uncover a facility of adjustment to the situation, and then your sensibilities find promise in others and yourself where there was anger or worry before.
