The higher aspects or possibilities in this day will be grasped by very few. Who possess psychic and spiritual gifts which influence not only the world now but future generations? Not many of us. Yet such individuals exist. Science and diligent research are another area emphasized, not incompatible with the former though different in method. Observation from a superior standpoint is common to both. Then patterns of limitation can be changed in a happier direction.

The things which frustrate you are present as challenges. (|Difficult third of this week.|) They seem mysteriously inimical to really good people. Also, one might through one's own carelessness drift into a stream of bad influences. Then there is no remedy but to hope for the best and pray to Heaven for mercy to correct things. 

Defects of body or mind are based on secret wrong notions which seem to have twisted the nature in a pointless direction. Yet you have an analytical mind which can take account of everything relevant, testing all with wariness. So it is possible to rise beyond errors imbedded in consciousness, and get back to singing one's song of life with fervor.

Notorious individuals who have a baneful effect on humanity and history indeed seem present and it is hard to understand why people are subject to them, except by theories of karma. Some, through suffering and pain, arrive at last at a summit of reward. Others endure silently, harboring within themselves something wonderful, a baby or a creative project. They are reticent but at length what they produce is contributive to the welfare of the world around them.
