This soli-lunar Fortnight  begins technically late Friday February 3 at 8:20p PT | 11:20p ET | 4:20a(Sa) UT. It is the fortnight of the bright, fat or gibbous moon.

Not because it's the fat-moon fortnight but because of prevailing aspects, it appears we are in a more progressive phase. It is easier to press forward.

Your natural drive ahead is supplied with limitless enthusiasm. Enduring values you have recognized and enshrined are inspiring you to be loyal to groups and individuals who support you and share your hopes. Such loyalty carries over into career projects, bringing thereby a blessing.

Sensitiveness to common sense is required, and is not missing. That means you can acquire money and other things you need in a consistent peaceful way without rocking the boat. What other people do with their money, and legal complexities, are not important if you adhere to what you have learned through your own experience.

Being consistent in budgeting will help. Remarkable people who are friends, or who become friendly, are prodigious in some way. Their needs and yours are compatible and mutually beneficial. Your expertise helps them while theirs helps you.

Competition and initiative are strong, with Mars and Venus in Aries. The former's square with Pluto, increasing, suggests being productive through energetic activities. You spend hidden resources in the pursuit of objectives. Secret knowledge helps you do this. What you do at home is building better living possibilities for the future. You want to please others, and that is good, yet in doing that you need also to be faithful to your own long-term patterns and necessities. You will benefit others insofar as you are a rock of stability even in ways not directly connected with their well-being. Then new interests will not disrupt your poise. Shopping for things, sometimes household items and sometimes knowledge items (as books, courses, etc.) is part of your attempt to get in synch with the new age of shared experience which is upon us. 

You can cultivate and embellish the aesthetic glories in your life---music, movies, TV series, reading, spiritual study, whatever uplifts you, including sports and games when these contain an exalting social element. There are going to be plenty of opportunities for self-indulgence. Most of these will be harmless---but of course it is important to be alert to those which could hurt you (whether immediately and clearly, or subtly through taking you away from other things you could be doing). Good taste in life is exalted: The enjoyment of colors, flavors, and human charms. 

Some of the "antsiness" mentioned in last fortnight's forecast remains with us---the protests in politics, the disagreements, clashing life-styles, and varying philosophic-religious attitudes---yet the tumult is largely minimized, reduced to easier proportions. People are more willing to assist one another's purposes and good intentions. A recognition of freedom is dawning upon us. How can one be free if one is denying freedom to others? I have seen the problem in both Left and Right political orientations in the past fortnight. People have not been hearing one another. They have gotten off enthusiastically on castigating and making fun of the opposite side. Actually, I am on both sides in much of this, or at least can see the rationale on both sides. I am sorry that those on the Left and Right have not been able to do the same. But it appears they will be closer to doing so this fortnight. Let us look forward to that and promote it.
