Some show forth self-reliance, fearlessness and nobility. If not pompous tyrants, they are apt in the government of others. 2 "A man in a skull cap is busy at work with scientific instruments." Investigation and experiment pay off eventually after long and earnest research. 3 "You may kill, but never conquer" "a wild boar." He refuses to adopt the tricky policies of modern civilization, having "a life of his own, a sphere of his own, and pleasures of his own." 4 In the light of the above paragraphs we may feel like "Miners emerging from a mine" who manifest "irresistible curiosity and indomitable self-confidence."
