● Aspiration toward the Supernormal ●
"In an almost nude state a number of men are working in a forge beneath the surface of the earth. It's the engine room of a large steamer." "This person may leave his native land under very gloomy circumstances," says Charubel. "I advise him to live quietly in a settled and uniform mode of living, and not take on any office where great responsibilities are involved." This sounds like what many are going through in Syria, Ukraine, and other war zones. "Cool it" is appropriate advice.
Aspiration toward the spiritual and supernormal could be intense. "A smith's forge and bellows" carries on a theme of the previous paragraph. Some will "fan the spark of intelligent faith into a flame of conviction." "Their walk in life, though devoid of ostentation, will be of singular service to humanity. They are great of soul."
Paragraph 1 recommends keeping a low profile, but now we have "A man standing on a platform with an audience in front." There is tension between hidden and public roles. One might wish to be a political orator, or else stick to less divisive literary discourse. People have to say what they think, somehow or other, unless censorship is overweening.
It's the final day of Autumn. The Winter Solstice is upon us. It's the darkest day of the year. Oddly enough, the darkening twelfth of the year belongs to Sagittarius, a fire sign, while the early-brightening twelfth is Capricorn, an earth sign. That begins Saturday at 1:22a PT / 4:22a ET. Charubel"s symbol for the final degree of Sagittarius is appropriate: "A man standing alone in a dark and gloomy valley, and a ray of brilliant light coming direct from the heavens on the crown of his head." "One who has a mission to execute; a cyclic man, not a time man; one who lives a life beyond his day; not always understood." Some of us feel that way.
