Abortive projects, unfortunate relationships,
Hopes cut off. Some then become

Apoplectic, enraged or maddened, feeling a
Pressure of overwhelming potentiality pushing for
Mobilization. Then comes a time for relaxation.
Two persons sit at a table with beakers of wine
/
Before them. They feel jovial and sympathetic,
Frank in speech, endued with intimate, kind
Knowledge of human character. Finally in the
Dark a vestal lamp burning brightly allows them to
/
Seek and find keys to higher mysteries of life
And thought, initiated into eternal verities.
