^More on Navigating the Dark Epoch ^ Yesterday we discussed the Bright (fast Mercury) and Dark (slow) Hermetic Epochs. The current Dark one runs from November 7 till January 4. That happens to be the interim between Trump's election and his assumption of office later in January. It's a lame duck period for the current Administration and a time of turmoil for the Trump transition team. But there is nothing "wrong" with the DHEs. They are often times to REplace something with something else. Sometimes they REquire REtreat, as in Matt Gaetz on Thursday REsigning from a difficult confirmation battle over the Attorney General position. Other confirmation struggles are ongoing. It's not that nothing good can happen but that it's like walking while dragging a chain or over chewing gum. People misunderstand each other. Court cases are REversed or charges dropped. There are delays in labor that someone owes. Positively, a loan could be forgiven. Thoughts are complex. Scholars find hidden surprising connections. Too much information? Notions from various sources could be melded or blended. Not this or that, but this as well as that, at appropriate times. People suggest to you procedures which are uncongenial, so you have to say No thanks either openly or silently. It seems that a good friend is being unreasonable or unfair to someone but you don't want to intervene. Why does it take so long for people to arrive at a tentative workable decision? Beware of dropping someone or something prematurely. Getting a divorce or resigning a job could be a mistake. Throwing in the towel could make you naked or vulnerable. Patience! Positively, philosophic thinking can be deep and revealing. Old music could sing more sweetly to you than contemporary stuff. Older artists are promoting concerts based on complete old albums. Dare to go REtro! Scriptures, or spiritual writings which seem scriptural to you, can be salvific, life-saving. They REorient and REvive you blessedly.
