Respect There seems to be a huge battle between good and evil. People are feeling it. It seems to be centered in the senseless Ukraine suicidal war of attrition payed for with our tax dollars (billions). Let us pray. Aggressive and quarrelsome difficulties and dangers spell discord, a sorry test to those of humane and benevolent dispositions. Liars are deserted and abandoned. Affections are insecure. Love divorced from good judgment results in bitter resentment and jealousy. Many love without power to evoke a response. But they should not become selfish. Active military service, exhibiting prowess, is good for some. Proudly they execute deeds of daring. But undue self-assertion brings reverses of fortune. Others have ingenious, inventive minds, but yield to imposition and injustice from others. They bring new things to the service of the world without much advantage to themselves. They deserve more credit and respect. Near the end of his very long life, Sri Govindananda Bharathi summed his advice up thus: "Live right life. Worship God. That is all.
