The |difficult third of the week| is still hitting our weekends. It is reflected in the first degree of the day, an ominous one hinted at in the first stanza, but the other symbols are quite nice so the trend of the day's sonnet is uplifting.

Are there demons? Jesus cast them out.
Is there cruelty? Kindness supervenes.
The swords used in evil magic have been
Consigned to a museum exampling futility.

A man clinging to a boat otherwise would be
Submerged. A friend, and faith, save him.
A tree-trunk hollow, covered with moss, harbors
Ancient romance. Longevity is gentle, shy.

Two lovebirds sitting on a fence chirp high magic
Affirming their destiny of fellow-reality.
Two circles concentric, in perfect accord,
Guard and cherish each other forever.

No sword can separate, none dissipate their
Sweetly symmetrical mutual influence.

Is a lady dressed in fox fur, fake if PETA
\
Has its way, who guarantees the felicity of the
Amoral, or challenges them to something better.
