I tend to get a chuckle out of Charubel's symbol (for Capricorn 25-26), 'Too revolting to be given.' He hints that it could be perversion, vice, bad company, and 'gambling hells.' What he might say in 2024 is an interesting speculation. 'Seek to develop thy higher nature and thou mayest save thyself.'
'An ape seated before a mirror' could be vain, a 'superficial worldling who sees himself as the one object.' An egotist, nevertheless he could be a leader in fashion, humor or mimicry. He has apelike physical energy and quick powers of adaptation. The keyword is Imitation.
We could get our bearings through 'A council of ancestors.' We can depend on 'characteristics which have proved their value and hence have continual re-embodiment in the hearts and minds of one generation after another. The whole of an individual's background mobilizes itself continually to serve him. Self ultimately must fulfill itself.' The keyword is Antecedence.
If the vices of the first paragraph precipitate a crisis, 'the moment's intensification rehearses potentialities one might never discover otherwise.' 'A forest fire is quenched.' 'What can be misfortune to be suffered can as easily become a successful adventure in broad social responsibility.' The keyword is Concern. (Why are we still fighting so many forest fires - wars and fracases - in 2024?)
