There is impatience, yet lassitude, which seems a contradiction. Everything needs to be done, pronto, but it is important to rest first! 'A man is lying upon a sheaf of corn, asleep, with viands at his side.' Dreaming rather than working, one could be at the mercy of others, neglecting immediate opportunities.

And so one could be like 'a submerged man clinging for support to a boat upon the sea.' 'There will be a friend at hand to rescue oneself from danger or catastrophe. This is in response to great faith. One should admit that one is untrained in certain areas, and focus on those which enable one to travel far.' (Paraphrased from Sepharial)

The next symbol is subject to misinterpretation, but I'll present it just as Charubel gave it: 'A warrior in bright armor with drawn sword, pursuing a savage multitude. One with great occult ability, who has a mission to accomplish; a White Magician! Go and conquer.' Obviously there are no racial implications here. White magic is uplifting and salvific rather than hateful. The 'sword' is not for killing but for eliminating evil, destructive thoughts and impulses. The 'savage multitude' is whatever is wrong and unredeemed in humanity. This is not physical slaughter but the removal of all that is hurtful, cruel and unkind.

None, or hardly any, are continually in legal, physical or ethical battles, so for rest times we have 'A cup, a pack of playing cards, and dice.' There could be 'weakness for wine and gambling.' 'The pursuit of fortune by adventitious means' might result not in gain but in spoliation. Sepharial recommends rather 'paths of simple industry and patient toil,' but I hope I wouldn't be a tempter by suggesting that sometimes a friendly card game and a drink could be harmless entertainment.
