\From Defensive Sleuthing to Goddess-Like Sympathy/
Moon in Virgo
0 “A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire” was one of the symbols for Wednesday (reported here), and on that day the Republicans chose their leaders in the Senate and House. Their campfire is lit. I mentioned that Mars retrograde until January 12, in Gemini, could show Gemini Trump’s RErun toward the White House, and today I hear that Mike Pence, also Gemini, is openly considering a run against Trump, to be decided, he said, by early in 2023, when Mars still in Gemini turns direct. “The twins” opposed to each other in the primaries? Maybe. Interesting.
^ Thursday: “A mole” could be any of us when feeling “very reserved and very determined, with great individuality.” We might sometimes “hate the public” or bewail its stupidity. Is “the public” by definition stupid? Election results often hint that that might be so. Or, rather than hating, we might just be wary, preferring our own company and mole-like personal business.
~ If one is more involved with “what is going on” rather than burrowing underground, one could resemble “a serpent in the shape of the letter S.” Charubel says this is someone “sagacious, sensitive, and subtle.” “He or she will not be imposed on; will readily see through a plot; would make a good detective.”
& Mercury still in a trine with Jupiter gives one the ability and mental clarity to validate any hypothesis, if it stands test. “A prism” is colorful and vitalizing precisely because it reliably breaks up light rays into their component colors. Whether one is working with astrology, mechanics or food preparation, one can see how each component section of one’s project fits harmoniously with the others.
* This paragraph is a complement (or antidote) to paragraph ^. One of my favorite degree-symbols is “The Goddess of Mercy Enthroned” (Borelli-Sepharial). Venus was there on Sri Aurobindo’s Day of Siddhi when The Mother’s powers, like his, were enhanced and she took control of his ashram at his request. And Venus is there today, in a trine with Neptune and Jupiter. “Beloved for works as for inherent virtue, he or she will make many friends. Hardship will be voluntarily undertaken for the sake of others. He will be attached to home and family, but her sympathy will extend beneficially in many directions. It is a degree of Sympathy.”
