Forecast-Meditation for Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April 2015

\I (grimace) Love (grimace) Everybody/

Moon in Capricorn   ***

Three stars, reluctantly, but it could be tough in some ways with Luna squaring, from Capricorn, the three Aries planets.

Fun, parties and socializing can be good any time, but don't be surprised if you have to deal with people's "issues." It's part of the process.

This is specially true because Venus is opposing Saturn (by four degrees today, closer over the next few days). Beware, I am about to give my four-times-a-year lecture on the hard aspects between Venus and Saturn. You must recall that I term them the "Nobody loves me" aspects.

It doesn't have to be that bad, of course. These aspects are a test of maturity. A test of love, as I have often put it. Can you keep loving when the loved one seems to have lost interest in you, or is remote or annoying?

Or, with age and experience, this can be experienced as the "I don't love anybody" aspect instead--when someone has built up a carapace of hard indifference around himself or herself in order to avoid feelings of rejection. Of course that is rather sad.

Finding the perfect balance is not easy, and comes only with experience. To love, or at least not hate, someone who deliberately hurts you would be the hardest kind of test with this aspect, and fortunately doesn't happen often to most of us. The belief that our attempts to "love our enemies" and pray for them actually help ourselves, and ultimately vanquish their ability to hurt us, is enormously edifying, resolving and absolving.

The term of this aspect is, by ten degrees, April 6 (last Monday) through 22. By a narrower six degrees it is Friday the 10th through Sunday the 19th. We are in the thick of it now.

It's an opportunity to understand how to be free of clinging to anyone for emotional support, yet not rejecting anyone. Caring about people without requiring that they want to acknowledge your care for them all the time. And so on. Saints know how to do it. The rest of us try.

Other than that, we remain at the center of a Bright Hermetic Epoch and so what I said on Thursday and Friday about finding one's best practical orientation, and developing one's plans intelligently so one can hold on to them, remains pertinent.

It is said that Hillary Clinton will announce her bid for the Presidency on Sunday. It is good, for her, that she does it during a Bright Hermetic Epoch. It might not be good that she does it while Venus opposes Saturn. But she has come through all kinds of Saturn experiences, and that is what the Presidency demands, so . . . Things happen the way they have to happen. I am not a fatalist, but I acknowledge that even very good astrologers find it hard to map exactly how they are going to arrange things in the most fortunate astrological format. I believe that these forecasts come as close to doing that for me and you as anything I know, but still, we can only see so much and control so much.

Comments about Hillary's horoscope would be interesting. I could do a lot of that and maybe will in coming months. One problem is that the astrological websites admit that nobody knows her exact birth-time, only the day and year. She herself gave out more than one birthtime, ranging over the day, so she might have the moon in Pisces (if born earlier) or Aries (if later). An astrologer frustrated by this remarked to me "Of course, as Scorpio she likes to keep it secret."

I liked to believe that she had the moon in Pisces, because it is a sweet, mellow, spiritual sign. It would also go along with the fact that she is a serious Christian, Methodist, and takes her faith seriously according to people who know her well. However, the moon in Aries would fit the "badass" image which journalists say they love, as in the photos of her in dark glasses frowning at her cell phone. People have told her she needs to loosen up, and let herself be common and natural, rather than defensive, to win over the voters. That could mean, be more like the moon in Pisces than the moon in Aries. I tend to think she may have Luna in the latter sign. That would fit her overweening ambition to be President.

I did not say I support her, or do not. I certainly do not support her support for Monsanto and GMOs and that makes me distrust her on other things. She would have to do a lot of somersaults to convince me. We shall see.

Moon in Capricorn-->Aquarius   ***

/moon goes void-of-course at 1:16a PT | 4:16a ET | 8:16a UT   ** /
until it enters Aquarius at 10:45a PT | 1:45p ET | 5:45p UT   ***

For about three hours after Luna enters Aquarius (time above) she will be trine Venus exactly and that could be a happy time. Something sweet or peaceful could happen concerning friends or family. This would be welcome in that, as discussed yesterday, Venus is opposing Saturn. This transient lunar configuration could give you insight into ways of overcoming the downside of that "where is the love?" aspect.

With Part of Fortune in 10, career or standing is significant. What do you represent to people? For what do they respect you? (Maybe this is one hidden astrological reason Hillary chose this day to enter the race, at least according to the gossip as I write on Friday.)

The Red Cross nurse has enlisted to reduce suffering,
Facing disagreements among her working coterie.
She is a babe without, a giant within, developing
Confidence while traversing dangerous waters.

A pregnant woman dressed in pastel carries more than one
Load. She holds back, deferring to a man dressed in purple and
Gold whose dignity betokens secret knowledge in high
Channels. Together they bring a new idea to the world.

Scaling a wall on a ladder of rope, he hides his gun.
Beneath him stands a healer dressed in an orange robe
Whose therapy saves the world and rescues the climber
Before disaster. They go to an evening party on the lawn.
