° Distrust, Craftiness, Illumination, Attunement ° Distrust. A man hesitates to trust himself on a wooden bridge over a chasm. But some things need to be trusted, especially one's best friends. Craftiness. Is "a butcher conducting a sheep into the slaughterhouse" needlessly cruel? As a vegetarian, I think so, but not all agree. Some human beings are selfish, cruel and crafty. Illumination. Some rather are wise, subtle and profound, symbolized by "a serpent coiled around an uplifted beacon." There is probable success in any profession which leads clients to or by the light. Attunement. An angel is carrying a harp. It's just the second of the Twelve Days of Christmas, so the Christmas Angels are still with us. Their kindly inspiration can ameliorate the influences of the Distrust and Craftiness paragraphs. Happy Second Day of Christmas
