My candidate is RFK Jr. All of them are flawed in one way or another so we need to go with one who will protect our freedoms. For each of us it can be "consistent effectiveness in demonstrating personal potentials."

RFK Jr. says that the Secret Service has denied him protection.
"Two hands linked in a close grasp of friendship" could signal romance or maybe business partnership. Luna trine Venus all day and evening accent "those little greatnesses in daily life which make a person beloved, if not remarkable." Goodwill and amiability are mutually sustaining.

Wednesday, as I write, is a mess. I do not like the moon being in Scorpio, which can be a wonderful sign for people born in it but the moon is uncomfortable there. Lawfare! Rudy Giuliani is replying to false charges about him. Hunter Biden has been denied an easy cop-out through a plea deal. Everybody knows DJT's troubles. Congress is supposedly investigating UFOs, again, and getting nowhere because the military are hiding things, even maybe dead bodies of aliens (Scorpio). One hopeful trend is that Bobby Kennedy (who has Mars and Saturn in Scorpio) is gaining in popularity according to Newsweek. At best Scorpio is a trouble-shooting sign, and that describes much of RFK's life and mission.
Thursday: I'm not following summer temperatures worldwide but we have "a number of men working in an almost nude state owing to the heat, in something like a forge, actually the engine room of a large steamer." Charubel says we ought to live very quietly in some settled and uniform mode of living without great responsibilities.
"Mathematical instruments on a table with a sheet of blank white paper" are waiting to be used, but we might get carried away into other pursuits which yield no satisfaction. Maybe it would be good to do budgeting or calculate finances in some way.

"A pennant or streamer such as used by mariners to indicate the course of the wind" could indicate weakness through vacillation or uncertainty. The moon in the Via Combusta can make us feel overwhelmed, with loss of morale. We change from one object to another and could be depressed and nervous.
And so why not make "a futurist drawing" since the present is being reshuffled? Elon Musk is supposed to replace, today, the familiar blue-bird Twitter icon with a black-X icon! Is that his drawing of the future? I hope not. The futurist drawing is an experiment toward "identifiable and personal uniqueness" shared with others. One expresses a distinctiveness which releases their personal capacities as well as one's own.
"An orange tree loaded with fruit" shows the availability of pleasures and luxuries. But Charubel warns, "The longest day ends in night!" In other words, know when to stop before things get out of hand and try to be moderate. One has fine tastes and could accomplish much.

It's almost amusing to note that Venus started slowing down, slower than the sun appears to move in our geocentric view, just before the current Script Writers' Screen Guild and Screen Actors' Guild disputes and strikes, in Leo the sign ruling mass entertainment. She started slowing on May 30, that is, moving slower than the sun, goes retrograde on July 22 and finally turns direct on September 3. I won't predict that the strike will necessarily last that long but it may represent a prolonged period of negotiations. "I am Venus in Leo, I give you your entertainment, and I am weary of being mistreated so I am slowing down."
As for Mars opposite Saturn, I don't want to mention it every day but it is important, lasting through August 3. One symbol in the weekly chart is "a giant amusing himself with a child's doll." Could that be us, relying on these zodiacal symbols to set our days or lives in order? Actually, I study Christian Science every morning and consider that more spiritually profitable and fortifying than what I write here. But this astrological approach has its use and its place.
Mars opposite Saturn, continuing until August 4, coincides with the final days of this current Bright Hermetic Epoch. It might be called, in and of itself, the hardest aspect in astrology. It means "carry on, do your work, don't flinch from it even when it seems boring or unsatisfying or unrewarding." It can also mean "Keep refining or fine-tuning your skills."
For those suffering illness it can mean "Keep your faith in a cure going even during what seems the crisis of the illness. That faith, and your sincere approach to the mercy of the Supreme, can carry you through the temporary suffering, which may be relieved by early August if not sooner."
Monday:
The tiny crescent moon often shows the time of month when we feel weary and benefit from extra rest. The New Moon occurs today at 11:33a PT | 2:33p ET | 6:33p UT. It takes at least a day after that for full energy and oomph to recur, but one might feel that one is inwardly refreshed or renewed.
"A falling star or meteor" indicates uncertainty. An aesthetic nature seems unsuited to daily life in its sterner routines. Yet one can rise above reversals and changes through patience.

We're in the final day of an Old Moon when things seem lazy. Extra rest could be wise. Have you, dear reader, seen the video of a young Ukrainian man being manhandled and beaten while being conscripted to fight in a war probably resulting in his death or disablement? And are you pleased that your tax dollars are being used, in the billions, to support this?
"A large ball of fire flying through the air" could be the cluster bombs Americans (you?) have decided to give to Zelensky even though they are banned by many nations as cruel and inhumane because they often kill children who find them. There is a better interpretation of the symbol: "One who has a special mission of an extraordinary character who shall become a ruler of men, and a giant among men--intellectually or morally, if not physically." I do not believe this is Putin or Zelensky or Biden but it could be R. F. Kennedy Jr. who learned of the horror of war from his uncle and father and has vowed to end the warfare state if elected. \Character/I feel a dark or difficult time enveloping us, probably connected with the opposition between the two "malefics" Mars and Saturn, just beginning and lasting through the rest of July. It can be a need to face restriction or overcome opposition. Severity may be turned inward, with inner austerity and self-discipline. All that can be healthy and strengthening. There is impatience with those who do not readily agree. CEO Carter says "definite purpose often seems lacking, as if one regarded life as something of a child's game, passing from one interest to another lightly." Success comes late and after "severe struggles."
As for "physical violence" it is consistent with the aspect, as in the horrid and senseless Ukraine war. I do not predict that the killing will get worse, because we should all believe in and pray for peace. But it could be a crisis point. I believe things may get smoother, in all areas of international and personal life, beginning August 4 and even better in September which I have pointed out as possibly a good vacation month.
Tuesday:
"An empty rostrum" means one may miss one's calling. It is good to speak out what one holds as essential principle rather than conceal it.
"A large building with granite walls" is the headquarters, symbolically, of anyone who has some great deed to accomplish.
"A dagger" represents someone--Putin, Zelensky, Biden--who is the perpetrator or victim of dangers. Quarrels and arguments could lead to impulsive actions with unhappy consequences. Rather, one should emulate
"A man of character" who manifests maturity and integrity. Ambitions contain within them exactions, which the person of idealistic self-assurance can meet and satisfy without complaint.

Mars and Saturn begin an opposition this week, which lasts through the rest of July. What is the best response? "A smelting furnace" shows us being "large-hearted while sensitive to imposition or fraud." We don't glory in intellectual powers but in soul force.
Some who attend "a secret business conference" may be misled by their own false notions into doing things claimed for the good of the world but actually selfish. Who are the really good people? Probably those who, symbolized by "a farmyard implement" are "laborious, unambitious, useful members of society, ever content with their present lot."
Do they live in poverty? Maybe, like "a solitary rock jutting up from a waste of sand," that is, they have "fixity, steadfastness, and gravity of character." What they lack in directed purpose they make up by resistance and endurance. One way to use the |Karmic third of the week| periods is to avoid starting important new things at those times. As I write on Thursday the whole day is within a |difficult third| period and I was contemplating the new Threads online site, competing with Twitter. But after reading a little about it it didn't sound right. One's data will be used by Mark Zuckerberg and one cannot choose to see only one's own followers but has to submit to the Thread algorithm to determine what one sees! Not for me. Also the sonnet for the day gave a clue:

Living room? Tinsel decorations hanging from the
Ceiling? Fretful and peevish, he makes all miserable."
Sounds a lot like Zuckerberg and his Threads.
Friday: A small church is unique, away from the mainstream, and some of its members are bigots. I have been noting on Twitter some conflicts between Catholics and Protestants. We can tone down our differences even while remaining loyal to that in which we believe.
"A blank degree" means we are free to figure things out for ourselves but also, since it is a 4x4 degree, be firm in trying to get essential responsibilities completed.
"A reversed triangle on a red ground" is trouble with water or liquids so one should be careful if swimming or boating. More basically it is passions going awry, but it could be creative instead.
"A mermaid" could be passionate danger within the water, but, better, "the nascent eagerness of the soul for a private and personal participation in every possible facet of self-fulfillment." The keyword Importunity suggests how mermaids are said to have to implore seamen to give them souls. "There is an ineradicable purity of human make-up at core." There can be "a completeness of quickening to inner instincts of the being and a willingness to trust them."

Again, the Current Hermetic Epoch
On this Independence Day let's look at the over-all Epoch extending from June 1 through July and ending August 3. I'm giving myself a holiday break from writing about the daily symbols. The following, with edits, is what I posted last Friday.

The news breaking in France, and about Biden, and from the Supreme Court, and much more, is a landslide of stuff which seems to bear the signature of Venus and Mars square Uranus. Division, disagreement, individualism in the extreme, and so on.
It is possible to divide the big "pie in the sky" in many ways. I do a daily division here five days a week. I believe now in a weekly division, Saturdays through Fridays. But it seems that the best larger division may be the Hermetic Epochs based on the cycles of Mercury's motion as related to the sun and the earth.
The current Bright or Quick Hermetic Epoch began on June 1 and lasts through August 3. we are right now at its center, when Mercury joins the sun (or, as the old astrologers put it, Mercury is Cazimi, in the heart of the sun from geocentric perspective). More precisely that was Friday at 10:05p(F) PT | 1:05a(Sa) ET | 5:05a(Sa) UT.
This is the Epoch when we see clearly and can make good plans. Have you noticed how things have been "coming together" for you in the past couple of weeks? That should continue for the rest of July.
In what remains of this report let's get an overview of the entire Epoch, June 1 through August 3.
Although things clarify, yet nerves can be frazzled because of the double square of Mars and Venus with Uranus. I have found, through old and recent research, that the planetary-zodiacal degree-symbols work brilliantly for these Epochs, throwing light on all that happens within the two-month period. We have one month remaining and have already experienced one month. What follows is intended to have relevance for the whole period:
Pluto: "An arrow in flight" is in decline. We are impelled toward distant projects but "the breath of public opinion" may "carry us wide of our mark." This could apply to people you are following in politics. The "arrows" of Trump, DeSantis, Biden, Kennedy and Williamson seem to have uncertain trajectories at this point. Which one of them is "a shepherd on the mountain top with crook in hand watching out for the locality of his sheep," "a ruler indeed"?
Neptune: Do we have things organized properly in our minds? "A triangle with a round hole in the center" indicates "good and amiable qualities" mixed with "secret notions which, being false, render the good intentions abortive." If we could get a better grip on things we could be ushered into "a fertile garden under the full moon," an ultimacy of high reward.
Uranus: "A white dove over troubled waters" could guide us to utilize wisely what is within our grasp, such as symbolically "a field of rich grass in which stands a tree encircled by a swarm of bees." I take this as homage to my paternal grandfather, a beekeeper. What successful enterprise does it suggest to you?
Saturn: "A man with upraised arms submerged in water" is a direct hit for the tragedy of the "Titan submersible" which was lost during this Epoch. It may suggest to you any other major crisis you have had to face. We can save ourselves from much ill fate by acting like "a practical business person who readily allies himself with the world's ways and who is never short of expedients." He, she, or ourselves might be "cantankerous and not one of the pleasantest companions" even though successful.
Jupiter: presents to us divergent paths: One is "An ox lying on the ground asleep in the sunshine. Upon its back two birds are perched." The keyword for this is Grossness because of idleness and self-indulgence. The other path is represented by "a Red Cross nurse" who manifests "a steadiness of concern for the more extreme needs of others." This Enlistment for service removes "all sense of separateness" and enables us to "become more satisfactorily whatever we wish to be on our own account."
Mars: "A reversed triangle upon a red ground" warns against "the watery element" and possible "suffocation or drowning." Again, the Titan submersible; and all ought to be careful when engaged in water sports, swimming or boating. Venus: "Chickens intoxicated" might show "stimulation from elements essentially alien to one's own nature" or else a natural accentuation of possibilities, temporarily exhilarating. A little fun might not hurt the chickens or ourselves. Many get a better result through meditation. "In the center of a high mountain plateau I see one of the ancient magi performing his matutinal (daily) devotions. The lord of day ascends on the luminous horizon." Any of us can emulate that "magus" in our own home.

Venus: "Chickens intoxicated" might show "stimulation from elements essentially alien to one's own nature" or else a natural accentuation of possibilities, temporarily exhilarating. A little fun might not hurt the chickens or ourselves. Many get a better result through meditation. "In the center of a high mountain plateau I see one of the ancient magi performing his matutinal (daily) devotions. The lord of day ascends on the luminous horizon." Any of us can emulate that "magus" in our own home.
Moon: "A house on fire." There are forest fires polluting the air in many places. But more basically this is the fire of zeal. One is enthusiastic, but could be impulsive and headstrong to the point of exhausting "the cruse of one's vital powers." It would be better to channel the zeal into "standing on a platform, with an audience in front," being a lecturer, politician, orator or podcaster. Or one might turn to literature. "A mother with her children on stairs" is the maternal Educator of the planet, whether guiding her family or the children of others. Each has a different capacity and talent to be developed through her influence, suggested by his or her place on the
stairway.

We are just past the center of the Bright Hermetic Epoch of June 1 through August 3. I hope you have noticed how some of your plans, schedules, and agendas have been taking definite shape over the past few weeks.
Monday:
The Full Moon of Cancer-Capricorn occurred Sunday at 8:43p PT | 11:43p ET | 3:43a(M) UT. There may be a let-down today. One of the degree symbols is "a blank. Some mystery about the number 4 and its square, 16." This might mean that to escape blankness one ought to "four-square" things, put them in reasonable order.
One of the worst degrees turns up, "a dagger lying beside a skull." It denotes "fatal tendencies, destructive to a degree; inclination to cruelty and oppression." We know what that means in the nonsensical Ukraine-Russia war, threatening to destroy the world over minor territorial disputes. We need to "hold strong passions in check." Being "melancholy and taciturn" is okay but not keen feelings ending in the tragedy of undoing oneself and others.
If we overcome that crisis there is "Daybreak," with the keyword Genesis. Each new day is "an ultimate assurance to the human heart." There can be resurgence, new potential, rebeginning.
Then, at best, by evening "a bright, pale blue star shines over a clear lake." There is distinction through a quick, refined, well-trained intelligence. There is peace, harmony, and beneficence, with a mind "highly intuitive and capable of lofty and sustained flights." Also there is "diplomatic power." All this applies to Sri Aurobindo, whose natal sun was at this degree. He did indeed "shine like a star in his sphere of life" and have "many followers." The rest of us may share in all this directly or indirectly.
