Mercury is stationary and turns direct (in apparent geocentric motion) at 2:09a PT | 5:09a ET | 9:09a UT, but the Dark or Slow Hermetic Epoch continues (while Mercury gradually gains speed) until October 17

1 “A prison door fitted with iron spikes and girders” suggests that we still feel imprisoned by delays or obstructions while Mercury slowly gains speed in direct motion. Seclusion, even when it seems enforced, is temporary. Both REminiscence and REsearch are good things to do while Mercury is slow.

2 The way out? “A right angle and plane,” perhaps symbolic of the Masonic Order, show that a humble, industrious, honest life of good works is what we need. There is “justice and fraternity,” the liberal goals of that Order.

3 But “a red triangle” shows impatience, an inclination to use force rather than persuasion, losing one’s temper. Impulses unordered by restraint can be dangerous.

4 The answer could be working with others toward goals of fairness and adequate recompense. “A labor demonstration” is trying to represent the interests of the laborers in a light which will secure public support and the capitulation of employers.

5 At a freer level we still have “a golden ball suspended from the ceiling of a circular hall.” Wherever you go you can manifest some secret charm, some fascinating quality derived from implicit qualities or practices you do not announce to the world, though the world feels their compelling influence.

6 You may be favored with the company of “a woman sitting in a chair as if conversing with someone. Her hands are folded lightly upon her lap, her face has a pleasant, smiling expression.. She is loosely habited in a Grecian robe, her neck and arms bare.” She, or he, is “of easy manner, kind and accessible to all; fond of cheerful company and pleasant life; never cruel or harsh; impulsive in passion yet gentle in manner.”
