~Beyond Futility to Blessing~
A red flame, ascending upward to a great height. Denotes a person possessed with ardent desires. An enthusiast to the cause he espouses. A true friend and an open enemy. c / I felt this symbol when posting some things on Facebook about which I was not very confident, but when I posted them I felt that I had acted like a "true friend"--not an "open enemy," but being fearless and unafraid of how people might misinterpret what I posted. "This is it--if you want to be inimical, that's your issue."

It's not lost on me that many who formerly read and liked these forecasts have more or less abandoned them since I started posting the seven symbols for the day. I conclude that they have not found their way to using and appreciating them. So I am trying to do what I can to make that smoother. For example, I usually put the hardest ones first so we can consider the warnings, and then the "nice" ones which provide a remedy or cure for what preceded. However, some may read the first two or three and decide that they are too bleak and depressing, and not even go on to the "good" ones. Today I am adding some comments after each /.
A waning moon, amid a bank of clouds, dimly reveals a ship at sea, but all disabled. Roving, unsettled habits. Ill-fortune leads to many pursuits in quest of wealth. May end up badly placed with little hope of improvement. Much aptitude and versatility, but not much perseverance or hopefulness. Passes from bad to worse instead of improving what he holds. Instability. b / We all may know someone who is temporarily in straits like this--going off in a speculative direction rather than staying with what he or she already has going. Maybe we have no right to judge that, yet this symbol could clue us to what might be going on in someone, or even in ourselves, and then we can ponder and pray and try for better outcomes.
A man sitting upon his heels and breaking stones with a hammer. Few resources and small intellectual powers. From lack of ability or through misfortune will be able to bring little to fruition. May labor much to little profit. Unfruitfulness. b / Of course we don't have to accept blindly anything negative. This one might clue us to give up some minor activity wasting our time, for example. What seem in the symbols o be warnings about a whole lifetime are in these daily reports merely warning-suggestions for one day, in a lighter vein than they seem in the original language. I am depending on you to understand that and work with it.
A man on the roof of a building putting slates on it; and another carrying the slates up a long ladder. Ever engaged in such deeds as tend to benefit the community. A lover of peace, and promoter of all good works. c / This is a self-explanatory remedy for the previous two symbols. The individual is no longer just "breaking stones" but doing something useful to all. This could inspire us to keep on with some good work we have already started. It may be cooperative, as two individuals are needed for the task described.
A child born of an eggshell. Essentiality. s / I like this one, but I don't try to "figure it out." Let your mind roam into intuitive regions. The "child" could be someone you know or yourself. What is essential, or of the essence, in her or him could be wonderful.
A prima donna singing. Excellence. s / A little pride in one's talent, yet maybe justified pride. What is wrong with trying to be excellent at what one does?
A crown and sceptre. Entitled to more than he possesses, and has powers of which he is unconscious. c / Too good to comment upon. May it be a blessing.

Cosmic Piper
b: Signor Borelli, 19th century clairvoyant; interpreted by Sepharial who was Walter Gorn Old
c: Charubel, 19th century clairvoyant who was John Thomas
s: Sabian symbols which came through psychic Elsie Wheeler, interpreted by Marc Edmund Jones
The symbols and their interpretation are intended to apply basically during the hours from dawn to midnight. Often a planet will move from one degree to another during the day, so I use a time near mid-afternoon for all of them, so that they shall be exactly right during most, often all, of the daylight hours. The period from midnight to dawn could partake of the nature of either day or both.
