and so the hardest 24 hours of this week (from one perspective) span 12 hours on either side of that, beginning Wednesday at 4:49a PT | 7:49a ET | 11:49a UT (until 24 hours later, early this morning).
However, it is present also during the longer span (till late tonight, time given above).
Also the moon enters the Via Combusta at 8:30a PT | 11:30a ET | 3:30p UT, a 2.5 day period of sometimes loss of morale or a fumbling attempt to deal with a cosmic reshuffling.

I have given the keyword "interference" for the opposition of Venus and Mars, exact right now, and exact on Monday and exact today and tomorrow and still with us a while after that. It was Interference in a big way for me today. I have spent an hour and a half trying to make it possible even for me to write this, with computer problems, Internet problems, weird inexplainable technological problems, not even solved after restarting the computer, though now at least I can write this. It will be brief because the Techno Monster has eaten up the time I had to write it. (The Techno Delay Monster also got a foothold with the sun's growing opposition with Saturn, for Saturn is the planet of delay. "What's your hurry?" he leers. And now I have to restart my astrology program.)
But we carry on. I do not have time to look at the symbols for the day.
The homicide of XXXTentacion on Monday may seem way in the background of events, for most of us, yet somehow I have seen that it hits a nerve and is a symbol of something important in the universal human consciousness. His latest album, ?, is being listened to more than any other in these days following his death. (Two tracks from it are presented below.)
I gave a mini-interpretation of some aspects of XXX's chart yesterday. Now let's look at what was going on in the sky on Monday. Oh, remarkably, there was another killing (in a drive-by shootout) of another rap star at just about exactly the same hour. 3:57pm Florida time is almost the same as 4:25pm Pennsylvania time (both Eastern) and those were the times of the two shootings. The moon in Virgo was forming a quincunx with Mars in Aquarius, exact within three degrees. That is about the maximum orb I allow for quincunxes in real-time charts. They can show upset, anger of violence when Mars is involved. Once I was sitting in Washington Square Park on the lawn reading a book and someone threw an egg at me. I looked at my charts and the moon was quincunx Mars within minutes of that "attack."
Mars is in Aquarius, at a critical degree and moving almost not at all, stationary before it turns direct on the 26th, which makes it very powerful by two criteria. That is very significant because Aquarius, in a general mundane way (mundane astrology is the astrology of current events) rules "free brown-blacks" in old lingo (evolved when there was still black slavery) and so has a lot to do with rap stars at the present time, especially because it is Mars (ruling young males) which is in question.
Now Venus in Leo is opposite that Mars, and moving up to it by less then four degrees at the time of the killings. Venus certainly has a lot to do with XXX, since he was facing serious charges of assault of his girlfriend and other complications. Now I hear that at his memorial service his girlfriend was excluded or pushed away from it. How sad and strange, and yet there was some clash of loyalties and perhaps some sexism with the Venus-opposite Mars aspect which as I said could be a "battle of the sexes" aspect.
What else? A lot more than I have time to point out here. Mars on Monday was at 8 Aquarius 49, and Uranus in XXX's chart is at 8 Aquarius 23. An exact conjunction of a stationary Mars with XXX's Uranus! Mars-Uranus aspects are considered by astrologers, and have been since shortly after Herschel's discovery of Uranus (originally called Herschel), violent aspects. Nobody like this but the evidence piles up. Of course, people who have good karma and are trying hard to be responsible generally do not suffer violence when they have Mars-Uranus aspects but experience some other sort of shake-up requiring some readjustment in their lives.
XXX is also part of a generation which has Uranus in Aquarius, and I discussed that generation months ago after the shootings in Parkland High in Florida when those students with Uranus in Aquarius presented such a strong united front against gun violence. "All is connected" in more amazing ways than non-astrologers could ever realize. Astrology is the science of Formal Cause, a type of causation recognized by Aristotle but never even suspected by most contemporary "scientists" who still, despite advances in "strange physics," cling to the old billiard-ball visualization of causation prevalent in the 16th and 17th centuries. The planets are not billiard balls, and neither are we.
Uranus means "Independence" according to Marc Edmund Jones. XXX was Independent to an extreme. He shows what can go wrong with that planet, and with Aquarians (he had four planets in the sign including his sun), if Independence becomes belligerence or cruelty.
But we look to the better always, and humanity is learning how to be Uranian and Aquarian in humane and loving ways, very slowly, with some backtracking as part of the process it seems. XXX was really a sensitive soul and his album could be considered one of confession, repentance and offering to G*d (or deified humanity), even though not overtly or conventionally religious.
