\Prerogatives Overcome Quibbles/

The journeyer shrinks abashed from Niagara and
Returns to his humble garden. He labors at what
He believes, including pruning his trees. He has
Prerogatives, a coat of arms, proud ancestors.

Nervous energy rends doubtful clouds like lightning.
The sun reveals a glorious horizon, and no one
Doubts the value of this teacher like the sun.
But then one quibbles; and stirs up harsh dissent.

Transient situations have their danger, but the rower
Of the canoe consults a map in his mind and finds
A way. A crow caws as if to lead somewhere uneven,
Doubtful; through spite? Competence ignores false leads.

The rower of the canoe could be you, competent but not absolutely certain of your course. Who really is? The pioneer has to steer by instinct much of the time. A flash of lightning reveals reforms you could make in yourself or someone; but we all know how tricky (or impossible) that second alternative is. There is beauty all around to be enjoyed, maybe specially when the void-of-course period begins and business could be over for the week.

A questing, learning spirit is successful and could show you sources of wisdom to rely upon, or one in particular. He or she or his teaching shows you how to cut out your own part in life. Someone you like works at humble tasks alone.

Envy wreaks mischief, not always deliberately but through a subconscious malicious attitude or a secret pleasure in someone else's comeuppance. Of course all should be over this but some have a tendency to disturb the peace. What are your inborn or earned prerogatives? You are larger than anyone who wants to upset you or others for no good reason. If true to yourself you belong to an ethical aristocracy which unifies and harmonizes others with your purposes.

}Facing Difficulty and Stalemate with Obstinate Morale{

The one and two-star ratings have to do with major oppositions exact now: Sun opposite Saturn and Venus opposite Mars. Both can be very trying. Other favorable aspects are present, for those who can tune in to them for relief. One suspects that many will feel that love is on the rocks: sharp, icy, or both, or perhaps, even worse, non-existent. But we have been through it before, and recovered.

Good taste overcomes more than one obstacle,
Through saving choice. Labor and simplicity
Are strength. When all seem treacherous or aloof,
A group around a fountain signal that morale is alive.

Character and energy mark the pioneer, whose merit
Is dextrous to carve out temporary homes and paths
Through hazardous exploits. Others fall, but he survives.
His path is as the lightning, sharply prefiguring change.

The watercourse is rough but the navigator holds his
Head up and keeps on. Discoveries he makes map out
New corners of the world. He analyzes places, grottoes,
Possibilities, reasoning to human fresh-connections.

The path seems hard because it requires new responses. These can be found and summoned from within oneself. Sometimes one is near others who are fresh and alive, entertaining, enfolding, even if more independent and aloof  than overtly affectionate.

Fine sensibilities are aware of subtle beauties even in unpromising situations, and revel in them. Analysis is helpful, when there is stalemate; it even aids manly labor in simple settings where one takes care of all for which one is responsible, somewhat aggressively.

Prestige and victory come to one persistent despite the failures and losses of those around him. Not that he is callous, but in this battle he has all he can do to save himself. Then later he could use his tools to help others, even as a surgeon. Much is being studied, with one eye on one's career and its potentials or what it has revealed, and another on the world's intriguing variety.

Song of the day:  Say Something by A Great Big World   (This is a "celebration" and description of the way some may experience Venus opposite Mars, I am sorry to say.)
