The three stars at the day's beginning are not for a social time so much as for business--you could focus on things practically and efficiently while the moon forms a grand trine with Mercury and Saturn all day (evening for Mercury also although the moon will be void-of-course).

You may be alert to what is best in yourself and a solid heritage which supports you. It could be from your ancestry or from a spiritual tradition or teaching which sustains you. 

Outward fortunes keep changing and there is interest in travel. Some skill of yours is accented in a way that gets attention.

Eminence, however, is uncertain, dependent on whims of people. Your success could be spasmodic yet brilliant while it lasts. You are original and independent in what you try to do and want to be first, topping rivals.

You delve into things adamantly, conscious of details which make for success. Then when there is time--probably after the v-of-c period begins--you can rest contented and luxuriate in easy pondering, reading or relaxing. 

There is conviviality and high living, maybe feasting, when you feel the time is right. People like to chat with one another liberally, gossiping benevolently. 

Yet you keep part of your mind on business. You want to acquire what will make you feel secure and you hold on to what you have fiercely.  You feel that this will make you a better person because you can use what you have in intelligent ways which benefit the world or other individuals as well as yourself. Focused action and choice centered on a job or project earlier in the day, with review and relaxation later, could be a good formula (v-of-c time above).

Mars retrograde opposing the sun is a difficult aspect, said by astrologers to show resentment, fighting, anger, agitation. Alan Leo said it is Will (sun) versus Desire (Mars), which is a rather too-simple formula but suggestive. Can your purposes (sun) be served by force (Mars) or not? Only if it is careful, wisely directed force rather than the sort of antagonism which arouses opposition, it would appear.

And so, of course, there is suspicion--you may suspect that others are devious or cunning or crafty and selfish, or they may suspect you. People diverge from what is strictly ethical when they feel they "have a right" to something for no particular reason other than that they are not somebody else. You might wink at this, in others or yourself, if there is something cultural, intellectual or interesting going on despite questionable methods. People are changeable, with alternating moods. You might be interested in a scholarly subject. 

You may be ardent in pursuing something spiritual even more than the material. You have courage and need discretion as well because your actions may be misunderstood or disapproved. 

You might try to get to the roots of some injustice, and rail against it. Perhaps this really needs to be done, though without the vehemence which would make people antagonistic. You will be industrious at what seems most important to you. 

You want to defend yourself and others from whatever is wrong or unfair. You may choose to do a lot of that away from the public's gaze so there is less interference.

The indications of possible anger, upset, or even violence are such that it would be well to be careful and prayerful, saying a little prayer to the Highest when confronted with opposition before anything could escalate into real hurtfulness. Whatever looks wrong in others' behavior may really be wrong, but there is more than one way to let that become evident. Blessing the "enemy" is a time-tested formula.
