*Impatient Despair, Begone!*

Much harmony around you and at a distance is heartening and inspires a devotional attitude. It is a time for giving thanks. While I write on Tuesday, it appears that some temporary (at least) solution to the congressional impasse over the budget is at hand, which could be wonderful. Everybody has been trying to piece his or her economy together in an individual way, sometimes through debt, sometimes through scrimping and saving, and it is a delight to see some of those efforts rewarded even if the ultimate solution remains farther ahead. If you cut out some pleasures which would be too costly, others remain and are enough.

The tendency to drift, or be indifferent to others' needs, is also a national (and universal) tendency, and so the picture is not altogether rosy unless there is intelligent fiscal responsibility at all levels. Cleverness solves some problems; luck (or divine Grace) others; while others require setting the sails intelligently for designated destinations.

Your hopes are compatible with those of others with whom you are affiliated. Differences of opinion and approach mean you have to sustain things through sheer faith at times. It appears that by September a lot of your plans will be on a surer foundation. It is interesting that the possible agreement on a budget in the Senate and House comes when Mars is exactly conjoined to the U. S. Mars (the July 4, 1776 chart). This suggests that we can "get moving" again at this point, if all goes well. Perhaps even labor and capital will find ways of joining hands.

Excellent popular or musical entertainment can lift your spirits. Lunar aspects are harsh, suggesting that you are well aware of problems, but brooding is not necessary at every moment. The quintile of Venus and Jupiter shows that the richness and beauty of life are available to be savored.
