~The Big Easy~

Our old friendly enemy, the moon void-of-course, is with us again, because several planets have moved into new signs (the sun and Venus into Leo, Mercury into Virgo). It is with us all day today. When the moon is void during a Dark Hermetic Epoch, strange things can happen. Be prepared for the unexpected. People may feel like taking off work early, and may be merely going through the motions on their jobs; and then change entertainment plans more than once. It could be a time for "going with the flow" rather than too-strict plans; and also, since the moon is getting tiny, extra rest.

Whatever gives you assurance is helpful. Your world-scheme, your philosophy, helps you handle whatever is essential, and maintain your superiority to changing circumstances. A lot hinges on wise orientation.

It's enchanting to just daydream, sometimes. These moments of inner renewal are essential. During them you can pass through melancholy or upset. You can be solitary without being misanthropic.

It's rather amusing that the Sabian Symbol for Mars today is "A man declared bankrupt"---or should that be "A country declared bankrupt"? Amusement, at this point, is about all we can feel about Congress's self-defeating internecine machinations over the budget and debt limit. Whether they get to a decision today, I shall not predict. However, I think you will fare rather well with figuring out your own budget, preventing financial problems, delivering yourself from worry. You may escape into a place where you feel elbow room, whether in nature or an urban scene where you roam freely.

It is well to be alert to whatever could infect you, that is, physically or emotionally, sapping your energy or producing lethargy or depression. You could be susceptible to negative feelings or ideas. Saturday should be a more upbeat day, with the moon entering Leo and the New Moon in the afternoon. Today there is a fair amount of weakness or vacillation, but if you take things gently, letting them unfold without undue anxiety, all can be well.
