~Firm Path to Peace~

It's easy to see travel as likely for many at the beginning of the weekend, perhaps merely local, or further, but with a feeling of "What's the use?" or "Why am I going here?" We are in the |emotionally doubtful third of this week| today and Saturday, although Saturday should be somewhat nicer.

Those who finagle for gain in devious ways do not always come to grief immediately but are not happy people.

You get intimations of telepathic contacts with those at a distance, some of them troubling, and that is the moment for prayer of a hopeful, healing nature.

Sometimes it is well to go it alone, if friends are absent or otherwise occupied; still you feel the uplifting presence of invisible friends. People around you, neighbors or strangers, are not entirely alien; at least reliable in crucial respects.

Why the human race insists on strife and war, or in their absence on contests of all sorts, is a fascinating occult question. Many theories attempt to answer it. The tendency seems to bring issues to a head so they can be resolved decisively. On the other hand, ordinary daily routines and necessities provide welcome relief from such "issues" and can be handled contentedly.

You may wonder who deserves your kindness and support. One theory is that it is better always to be charitable; another, that it is wise not to let oneself be exploited. The truth lies somewhere in the middle (although the Master Jesus appears to be solidly in the former camp).

The honest commander is always appreciated by a people so that he can bring their aspirations to fruition, even if through strife or firm negotiation leading to peace.
