~Changing Bad Karma to Good~
The |difficult or stressful or confusing or karmic-comeuppance| third of the week is not my personal superstition, though some of you may think so. If you were to watch it every week you would see what it means for you. It began Wednesday evening (in the Western Hemisphere) at 4:28p PT | 7:28p ET | 11:28p UT (I let you fill in the blanks if you live in the Mountain or Central time zones in the U. S.). Just after that time, in fact, I encountered two individuals who troubled me and one who may have harmed me, although unintentionally. It seems that "the dark forces" come out at these times. A little later I heard someone in a group saying something about me which amounted to slander. If you are not aware of such things happening at these times I point out every week, you are just not very conscious. One function of these reports is to help us be more conscious. (Of course, good things also happened during that period, but the "dark" ones were the ones which stood out as something I needed to think about or correct.)
This |dark or disturbing or karmically teaching| period continues through Thursday and Friday until Saturday at 1:20p PT | 4:20p ET | 8:20p UT. It seems longer this time because the moon is moving slowly, plus I have found through close observation that I must allow a larger orb for this period when the determining aspect is the opposition or the conjunction rather than the square.
Should you hide under the bed? Obviously not, but being aware that this is a time when people are being karmically challenged will help you deal with it. In other words, they are paying off karmic debts. They have screwed up. They get the results of their mistakes, but usually without realizing that that is what is happening. So they may blame someone else or G*d. Or you.
Or, in some cases, maybe they are right to blame you; and then this is a "karmically teaching" period for you as suggested.
Prayers of repentance for oneself and forgiveness for others could be what are needed.
You may see, sense, or recognize irresponsibility, carelessness or unkindness in people at work or in your home or community.
I cannot, every time this happens, be your spiritual counselor, here in these reports, but I can suggest that you consult your spiritual counselor. For me that is Scripture as well as the writings of the most advanced souls I know. For you it could be that or something else, though I believe that spiritual instruction of a serious and responsible sort is what we all need at these times. We forget our best and highest teachings, what we deeply believe, and we forget to live up to our best at these times, all too often. But it need not be so.
Since I am still going through a difficult time which takes much extra endeavor to keep things on an even keel, I won't write any more tonight. This report is later than usual, so those of you in Europe may not get it before your morning begins.

What is old is still good. Reverting to old thoughts, thinkers, viewpoints can be constructive at certain times. Nothing prepares the new but the old. You can relax into subtly happy perceptions of both your personal and the world's past.
Another trend could be the opposite, wanting to do everything at once, but if you ponder you will see that what you want to do quickly, racing toward it, is something you had done before in another way.
Confidence in your powers is wonderful. It inspires you to express your opinions even among those who might make you tremble. That can be mixed with sly humor. You perceive wonderful truths, even when learning in a haphazard way from anything that comes to hand. Does that have career applications? Maybe, but if not, so what?

A form of hospitality requires preparation, but this is well worth it. Something embarrassing involving yourself and someone you like has consequences, perhaps gossip, but you will be what you will be. But the temper of the time inclines toward subtle and surprising insights which cannot always be locked away from others' awareness.

It could be a day of apparent failure. Things are hard. Many seem to be going backward or in circles. People seem unreliable or dishonest. Maybe they are not; that is why I used the word "seem." I find that readers often do not pay close enough attention to my words and make them mean what I had no intention of saying. "Seem" means seem. In other words, what follows it might be true or not, but it seems true. I am pointing out the way people including you will be feeling about things and the way they will be acting.
So many will be feeling "What am I doing here? Why did I come here; get this job; marry this woman; marry this man; is it all a mistake?" Then they will plod on because that is all that can be done.
A lot of work needs to be done. Yet there is an impulse to run away.
Something nice in your home or community could be developing, a sense of festivity. (I point out various trends which look contradictory because life is contradictory. It is up to you to unify them; I cannot do it for you.)

I am rushed, so the quickest thing to say is, "It's a good weekend, so enjoy it." That is based on lunar aspects.
The fact that Mercury turned retrograde Friday and will be so for another three weeks (until September 12) should not ruin your weekend nor the next three weeks. Living within that time-frame is an art-form which those of you who have been reading these reports for years may have learned by now. Each time, of course, the universe throws us different curves, just to keep things interesting.
Essentially, the key is to live inwardly and realize that other people are living inwardly more than outwardly. That means things can get strange, unsettling, or "out of pattern." No one does precisely what is expected. So the period has a reputation for being troubling, confusing or backtracking. That can happen, but need not.
The inward orientation can be highly creative. Dreams become important, and internal gropings toward life-understanding.
The moon is sextile both Saturn and Jupiter (plus Uranus) on Saturday, giving a nice philosophic cast to the day, a sense of peace perhaps.
On Sunday Luna will be trine Venus and Mars. That of course could be erotic or social in a big way.
On both days you may be concerned with career also, and income, and the potentials of both, although this need not be troubling. It might be that you are reviewing the way you have been doing things in your career, or your position of importance to others, and finding that you can modify or improve it in various unforeseen directions.
Venus and Mars, together, have separated from Saturn, so if you look back to where you were a couple weeks ago, and where you are now, you may find you are breathing sighs of relief.

This is just a prelude because I am just feeling a little more relaxed after a week of challenges. So, on Friday evening, I am not able to complete the forecast, but hope to do so as early as possible on Saturday.
Not only have outer changes been going on for me, but I have also seen, I believe, some better ways of handling the daily forecasts, which may bear fruit as we go along.

As mentioned, I am going through a lot of changes this week which are not troubling but time-consuming. So I did not get a regular report for Wednesday written at the usual time.
The |difficult or stressful| third of the week begins Wednesday forenoon and continues through Thursday until Friday around noon. So late Friday and the rest of the weekend will be free of that depressing or restraining influence. This is the first weekend in a long time of which that could be said.
The moon's trine with the sun, from Sagittarius to Leo, increasing into Wednesday evening will help, giving a youthful or adventurous feel to things. That would fit with the Venus-Mars conjunction which is increasing and will be exact Friday. A bit of romance is in the air. Connections formed now, or re-formed, will be significant or memorable.

I am assuming you have been reading these reports so don't need to be told that today and Wednesday are likely the best days of the week for getting things done or working cooperatively with people. However, you also know we are in the Dark Hermetic Epoch until September 27 and so things are somewhat more backtracking or slow than we would like. This gives a meditative caste to everything. While working more slowly we are pondering.
Today the moon is in Sagittarius (it entered it 10:35p(M) PT | 1:35a ET | 5:35a UT) and sextiling both Venus and Mars in Libra. This of course is sweet and should be quite uplifting for moods. People will seem human and relaxed, ready to interact in a friendly way. Or, if not, it is because these good lunar indications are not enough to overcome the opposition of Saturn and Jupiter, which was exact Monday evening. We have discussed that at length: major life changes which I believe almost everyone is going through. Not bad changes; but what change is easy?
So I hope the day will be relatively smooth for you and would encourage you to make the most of it by keeping your optimism up and pushing ahead with whatever seems most important.
Good advice on any day but not every day has today's set-up, and this is the smoothest day of the last week before Mercury goes retrograde for three weeks (the heart of the Dark Hermetic Epoch) beginning this Friday the 20th.
So it is time to batten the hatches, or set things in order as graciously as you can (Libra planets at their best equal graciousness).

I gave you the lowdown on Monday and Tuesday, in an overall way, in the weekend report. I would recommend re-reading that. As said there, Tuesday and Wednesday could be the best two days of the week, especially Tuesday, for forward progress in business, friendship, relationships or anything requiring human cooperation.
I am leaving it at that this time. I have had a demanding weekend and expect to have a demanding week. I hope to write some forecast or other for the rest of the days of the week but promise nothing.

}Deep Transitions Need Not Be Scary{
Sunday the 15th is the birthday of Sri Aurobindo, celebrated by his disciples (0f whom I am one) all over the world. Those who do not know that he is an Avatar---and the only one certified absolutely to me since the time of Jesus---are simply not in the know.
Because it is His birthday, the weekend is sanctified no matter what the astrological aspects. "Sanctified" does not mean easy. Why would God make things easy for us? Actually He does, if we pay heed to Him. "My yoke is easy and my burden is light," said Jesus. But that is true only if one puts on that yoke (yoga), that is, gives up some personal desires in order to attempt to fulfill the Divine Will, that is, seek the Kingdom of Heaven first, then let personal matters be taken care of by the laws of karma and the kindness of grace.
The moon is in the Via Combusta both days (15 Libra to 15 Scorpio) but actually, as discussed a month ago (if anyone remembers), I am temporarily and experimentally expanding the Via Combusta to the end of Scorpio. The moon is not comfortable in that sign. So that means Tuesday will be the first "good" day for external progress. Every day is "good" for internal progress.
In fact, Tuesday the 17th should be the best day of the coming week, followed by Wednesday as also good but maybe a little more difficult. If you squeeze major business into those two days you will do well.
I don't like to give "good" and "bad" days, because all is good, but it is certainly true, based on decades of personal observation, that some astrological aspects and positions make things much harder for us. That is not because God or the stars are sadistic but because we have not grown up yet sufficiently to be able to handle certain things. One purpose of this project, these forecasts, is to help us in that direction. Of course the help I can give is imperfect, but when combined with your own insight, experience and intuition it could be quite useful.
The Via Combusta covering Saturday through Monday is a call to wake up. If you smell smoke, you need to get away from the fire. In this case the smoke is a death-warning, since Scorpio is the sign of death. Rarely is this literal, since the moon hits this place once a month, but always it is a call to go deeper. Someone facing death has to go deeper into his or her soul. We get a taste of that once a month. It is not necessarily an ominous or terrible time. Often it means people wonder a great deal---what is the purpose of life, or of my life, why am I here, and so on. Certainly such wondering can lead to deeper living.
Meanwhile external matters can proceed with efficiency, or some simulacrum thereof, with Mercury in Virgo a sign of skill and Mercury's own sign. Your skills may be directed toward better human relations (three planets in Libra, four when the moon is there on Saturday) even if such relations are obscured for the nonce.
The Part of Fortune in the third sector suggests much organizing of things in your environment. It could also be much communication. I would simply remind you that in the Dark Hermetic Epoch such communications can be "silly" as I mentioned recently, that is, pointless ultimately even if seeming important immediately. I would advise anyone to stand back when responding to an email or phone call or surfing the Net and ask himself, "Am I wasting my time?" The number of minutes you spend doing just that might surprise you.
That goes along with the Via Combusta question, "What is the purpose of my life?".
You might benefit by reviewing things carefully Sunday afternoon and evening. You might arrive at answers to questions about many things, including the most important personal relationships or friendships in your life. It could be a time for finding out what the current conjunction of Venus and Mars in Venus's sign Libra---a potentially very loving and romantic aspect---means to you. Don't be disturbed if you don't arrive at a definite or clear answer then---the moon will still be in the Via Combusta---but considering it could be helpful. Who is most important to you now? If you don't know, even that is a clue to what could happen over the next week or two.
By the end of August, certain financial strategies should be working out well for you. You will feel prosperous when paying September's bills.
The end of April or early May could be the next focus of consideration for changes in your home, or travel possibilities, either temporary or permanent transitions in your living situation. Something you are doing now could come up for consideration then. You seem to be on the right track.
By Christmas time you will know something more definite and positive about young people, children, and romance. What seems more remote or a mere possibility now may become a matter of active cooperation.

I don't like to give "good" and "bad" days, because all is good, but it is certainly true, based on decades of personal observation, that some astrological aspects and positions make things much harder for us. That is not because God or the stars are sadistic but because we have not grown up yet sufficiently to be able to handle certain things. One purpose of this project, these forecasts, is to help us in that direction. Of course the help I can give is imperfect, but when combined with your own insight, experience and intuition it could be quite useful.
The Via Combusta covering Saturday through Monday is a call to wake up. If you smell smoke, you need to get away from the fire. In this case the smoke is a death-warning, since Scorpio is the sign of death. Rarely is this literal, since the moon hits this place once a month, but always it is a call to go deeper. Someone facing death has to go deeper into his or her soul. We get a taste of that once a month. It is not necessarily an ominous or terrible time. Often it means people wonder a great deal---what is the purpose of life, or of my life, why am I here, and so on. Certainly such wondering can lead to deeper living.
Meanwhile external matters can proceed with efficiency, or some simulacrum thereof, with Mercury in Virgo a sign of skill and Mercury's own sign. Your skills may be directed toward better human relations (three planets in Libra, four when the moon is there on Saturday) even if such relations are obscured for the nonce.
The Part of Fortune in the third sector suggests much organizing of things in your environment. It could also be much communication. I would simply remind you that in the Dark Hermetic Epoch such communications can be "silly" as I mentioned recently, that is, pointless ultimately even if seeming important immediately. I would advise anyone to stand back when responding to an email or phone call or surfing the Net and ask himself, "Am I wasting my time?" The number of minutes you spend doing just that might surprise you.
That goes along with the Via Combusta question, "What is the purpose of my life?".
You might benefit by reviewing things carefully Sunday afternoon and evening. You might arrive at answers to questions about many things, including the most important personal relationships or friendships in your life. It could be a time for finding out what the current conjunction of Venus and Mars in Venus's sign Libra---a potentially very loving and romantic aspect---means to you. Don't be disturbed if you don't arrive at a definite or clear answer then---the moon will still be in the Via Combusta---but considering it could be helpful. Who is most important to you now? If you don't know, even that is a clue to what could happen over the next week or two.
By the end of August, certain financial strategies should be working out well for you. You will feel prosperous when paying September's bills.
The end of April or early May could be the next focus of consideration for changes in your home, or travel possibilities, either temporary or permanent transitions in your living situation. Something you are doing now could come up for consideration then. You seem to be on the right track.

I already pointed out that Thursday and today are the |hard or stressful third of the week| this time.
Venus conjoining Mars in Libra, Venus's sign, suggest something going on between the sexes (!). However, since both are still very close to Saturn and opposing Uranus and Jupiter in Aries, it is not easy to define. It may be that relationships, whether other- or same-sex, of all kinds are being sorted out for you (and maybe even by you). Theoretically Venus has the upper hand because Mars is in her sign. You might ponder that and see how it works. Not just that women have that ineffable control over men but that the Venus in men also has control over the grosser aspects of their testosterone.
Or, if not, let me know. Some dialogue about that might be interesting.
Small beauties around you, in the yard, someone else's yard, a park, could stimulate you and open your heart to possibilities you might not have thought of otherwise. You are competent in steering your course so long as you avoid obvious dangers. You might become aware of someone who has been in prison or otherwise led a restricted life because of behavioral problems. You feel you could help this person as if he or she were your offspring.
Who are the ones who are aggressive, assertive, warring, in your life? It might be legal matters, or strife within a group. Moral protection means being taught how to live, and how many adults can teach that? Even good men and women fall through temptation, and have to beg their children to understand, and "do as I say, and intend to do, not as I have done."

I knew someone who had no water signs in his chart who liked to walk in the rain. Another who had no earth in his chart who collected rocks. There are no planets in water signs at the present time and we have the horrendous flooding in Pakistan and I believe elsewhere in the world. According to Marc Edmund Jones the lack of an element tends to accentuate a striving for that element, hence the earth seems to be striving for water or rain and there was a cloudburst just before I began to write, and torrential rain coming down right now.
Whether there shall be more of this in the next few weeks while the sun opposes Neptune, obviously a planet connected with water, I shall not predict. Things are not quite that pat.
Today (Tuesday) is the first day of the New Moon and you may feel you are getting a few things in shape. You may be working more than usual at details of organization. We are called upon to settle things. There is much friendship in the background, but somewhat strained or with-difficulty-developing friendship.
The slow Mercury (Dark Hermetic Epoch) means that many things take longer than usual and there is the irruption of unexpected factors which delay the expected ones. With all this we must bear.
Perhaps the Dark Epoch is represented by the juggler who drops some of his balls and picks them up again while still juggling the remaining ones. (Quite a feat.) Or, if they all shower down, he recovers them and starts over.
Obstinacy is not necessary in order to retain self-respect. Sometimes one has to bend somewhat to circumstances until the wind or weather changes. Our intelligence will save us if we trust to it.
You are aware of issues concerning your home which require attention. although your way of attending to them seems unique, even careless. You sense how to make things come out right in ways others might disparage.
Courage keeps you going. You can sense how to handle what needs handling, without making things more difficult yet by inviting quarrels with anyone. One problem could be that the moon is void-of-course (in Leo) except for its opposition with Neptune, a rather other-worldly or confusing influence. Yet your character can be strong and definite when you follow your lights.

As Venus moves away from Saturn, though still very close, toward Mars, in her own sign Libra, relationships could be cooking---in their own broth, that is, nothing new except that they are still there though poised to go somewhere.
Meanwhile the moon and sun both in the most powerful sign of the zodiac, ruled by the sun our central orb and Fons Vitae, source of life, ensure that we are strong inwardly even if not sure of many things outwardly. The inner assurance has to be our link to outer security; that is, in-surance for which the only premium is openness to our Source. Excuse for laziness this weekend
Perhaps you don't need that excuse, since weekends, according to some, are meant for relaxation and rest.
But I failed to mention in the report for the weekend that the moon is in its final "dying" phase before the New Moon, which comes late Monday at 8:09p PT | 11:09p ET | 3:09a(Tu)UT. Just before sunset on Saturday evening is when the final phase begins, or the Part of Fortune enters the 12th (final) house before the New Moon. Before that, it is in the 11th, which suggests that despite the Saturn problems pointed out in the most recent two reports, you could be connecting or reconnecting with some friends, in a rather slow or uncertain yet perhaps poignant manner (Friday and Saturday up to about sunset). Still, even then I usually notice a distinct "loss of energy" or physical low vitality at such times. So you have an excuse to relax a great deal Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Your internal processes will continue at a slower but deeper level and so can point out to you important matters you might forget or miss if you were more dynamically and vitally active. Then, you could do some dynamic and vital things, but only the few which come up from your inner consciousness as truly important at this time.
I would also say: Re-read Thursday's report as well as the one specifically for the weekend, for I covered a great deal there which is still relevant concerning the rest of August (except the final paragraph about Thursday itself).

~Learning Humility, Deeper Love, Emotional Balance~
[Thursday for me was very much a slow-Mercury (Dark Hermetic Epoch) and Saturn time (slowness, delays) so I did not get to write a report for Friday. However I am posting this weekend report early Friday so will say a little about that day also.]
Friday could be "the pits" in some ways. If not, I commend your patience and competence. So far on Friday morning I have endured more technical glitches and backtracks in two hours than I usually experience in a week. The moon Friday forms a Grand Square (or X Cross, the same thing) with the planets (which without the moon in that position are in a T square, less difficult.) The X cross will be gone by Saturday so there might be a little relief, and Sunday could be a little easier yet---even though the moon will be void of course in Cancer before it enters Leo at 4:24p PT | 7:24p ET | 11:24p UT. During that void of course time, be sure you don't say anything to anyone you don't really mean or which you might want to take back, modify or apologize for. That is a quick rundown on the weekend.
Overall, through all three days, Venus is very close to Saturn and exactly with it on Sunday afternoon-evening. I said Sunday might be easier based on lunar aspects. If you can tune in to them, they will help, although Venus conjoined to (or square or opposite) Saturn is one of the most difficult aspects of all. As I have said, it is the "Nobody loves me" aspect. In younger people it can be a subconscious desperation: "I am young, have the world before me, and ought to be able to do what I want, and since everything feels rotten now and nothing is going right, I will do something else." And the something else is usually desperate and mistaken, which is not realized until "the day after." For example, two college students in my town are planning to go to Las Vegas before school starts. I would guess that both of them are hurting from either a lost girlfriend, money worries or a general malaise, and hoping Las Vegas will be the cure. They were drinking while discussing their plans. The desperation of Venus-Saturn can lead to semi-criminal or actual criminal activity in some cases. Of course, the more mature will bear it more nobly.
The good part of this is that both planets are in Libra (Saturn has been there since July 21; Venus enters it Saturday morning at 3:49 UT (late evening on Friday in the Western Hemisphere). Libra is the sign of Saturn's exaltation, decreed to be so by the ancients, and one of the two signs in which Venus is enthroned (in the sign she rules). I already hinted at what this could mean (does anybody remember?). [Thursday for me was very much a slow-Mercury (Dark Hermetic Epoch) and Saturn time (slowness, delays) so I did not get to write a report for Friday. However I am posting this weekend report early Friday so will say a little about that day also.]
Friday could be "the pits" in some ways. If not, I commend your patience and competence. So far on Friday morning I have endured more technical glitches and backtracks in two hours than I usually experience in a week. The moon Friday forms a Grand Square (or X Cross, the same thing) with the planets (which without the moon in that position are in a T square, less difficult.) The X cross will be gone by Saturday so there might be a little relief, and Sunday could be a little easier yet---even though the moon will be void of course in Cancer before it enters Leo at 4:24p PT | 7:24p ET | 11:24p UT. During that void of course time, be sure you don't say anything to anyone you don't really mean or which you might want to take back, modify or apologize for. That is a quick rundown on the weekend.
Overall, through all three days, Venus is very close to Saturn and exactly with it on Sunday afternoon-evening. I said Sunday might be easier based on lunar aspects. If you can tune in to them, they will help, although Venus conjoined to (or square or opposite) Saturn is one of the most difficult aspects of all. As I have said, it is the "Nobody loves me" aspect. In younger people it can be a subconscious desperation: "I am young, have the world before me, and ought to be able to do what I want, and since everything feels rotten now and nothing is going right, I will do something else." And the something else is usually desperate and mistaken, which is not realized until "the day after." For example, two college students in my town are planning to go to Las Vegas before school starts. I would guess that both of them are hurting from either a lost girlfriend, money worries or a general malaise, and hoping Las Vegas will be the cure. They were drinking while discussing their plans. The desperation of Venus-Saturn can lead to semi-criminal or actual criminal activity in some cases. Of course, the more mature will bear it more nobly.
The good part of this is that both planets are in Libra (Saturn has been there since July 21; Venus enters it Saturday morning at 3:49 UT (late evening on Friday in the Western Hemisphere). Libra is the sign of Saturn's exaltation, decreed to be so by the ancients, and one of the two signs in which Venus is enthroned (in the sign she rules). I already hinted at what this could mean (does anybody remember?). I would like to say comforting and strengthening words, because it seems we are in a time of difficult transitions. In general it could last through the Dark Epoch until September twenty-seventh, but more optimistically it should be somewhat easier {I emphasize "somewhat"} by this Sunday August ninth when Venus will have entered Libra and also passed her conjunction with Saturn, although that conjunction will still be in effect for another two weeks. Then things should again be somewhat easier beginning Saturday the fourteenth, and even more so by Saturday the twenty-first. That is all in terms of aspects and positions. The Dark Hermetic Epoch, of course, will still be with us but since that goes on about half the time we should be able to handle it with more poise by then.
I hope that outline will help you buffet the storms. Someone {who does not follow astrology or these forecasts} said to me Wednesday that things seemed to be slow for him, that it was taking him more time to do things and he felt weary. This was a young man. I think many or most are feeling such things. It stems from the Dark Hermetic Epoch coupled with the very heavy aspects with Saturn, involving not only Mars and Venus but Uranus and Jupiter. If not exactly a "holocaust of the soul" it might feel like that at times. It is important to slow down when necessary to regain spiritual bearings, then proceed calmly, patiently and effectively.
An upbeat factor is that oddly enough some friendships and love-attractions remain, or come out in interesting ways, as if when people feel threatened or challenged they turn to one another for emotional support. This goes on mostly at a subconscious level. It should be more evident in the next few weeks {as outlined above} as Venus enters Libra and moves toward Mars. People may "lean on you," and vice versa, in ways you wouldn't have expected.

A lot, in fact, remains like yesterday, although the moon moves from Taurus to Gemini at nine fifty-five AM PT | twelve fifty-five PM ET |four fifty-five PM UT. It will be void-of-course for four hours and ten minutes before that time, so you should not be surprised if things seem unfocused then.
However, after the time just given, today might be the best of the week for forward progress, until Thursday at about ten am PT | one pm ET | five pm UT. Today and the earlier time Thursday are better than the rest of the week for success with people, negotiations, purchases, complex arrangements, friendship, and so on. {The moon does not go void of course at that Thursday time but the culminating sextile then of the moon with the sun will be fading afterward; however, the rest of the day could have good points also.}
The middle of October is given as a favorable time for a more relaxed and happier approach to your life. This is two or more months away but if you keep it in mind it will help you navigate rocky waters before then. {We have seen this and reported on it before.} You will be happier then about money, work, and friendship or love-connections. Whom are you confronting now in that way? Someone who either disagrees with you on many things or is different culturally, nationally, racially, or in terms of life-style. Of course, it is more likely to be quite a few of such individuals than one or two.
The focus of the oppositions on Pluto {since they are all squared to it} is rather mysterious. Someone asked me recently if I still considered Pluto astrologically significant since the astronomers have seen that it is so tiny, perhaps not a true "planet" depending on the technical definition of "planet." I replied that I tried, many years ago, to eliminate Pluto from charts {everyone knew from the beginning that it was a very small planet, and very far} but found, eventually, that it was needed to explain events for which there seemed no adequate explanation with the other planets alone.
This T square with Pluto has to do with the difficulties of the economy and what they are forcing people to do. Since it is in Capricorn, and now retrograde, people are re-evaluating their careers and how they might manifest them in a more savvy manner. And they are seeing that they cannot do this apart from the global culture, with which Pluto has affinity or, it might be said, which it enforces. People are being forced into global business and global concerns, and they are being forced to learn how to connect themselves to a worldwide economy and worldwide set-up of governments.

The bottleneck is where I was this morning {Monday} what with trying to get a computer which will type numbers and parentheses and the "at" key {I can't even send email to new contacts}. I still don't have one. Other problems seem innumerable and interminable. What I said in the forecast for Monday about "delays" was drastically true for me at least.
It's a slowing-down period for many. And yet many are going through big changes which require alertness and efficiency. So there is stress in trying to keep up with what is necessary, not falling behind, while also keeping one's mood and motivation going when it seems to flag.
All that continues today, of course, since these are long-term indications. I cannot repeat all of them every day; if you have been attentive to these reports you know they have to do with the Dark Hermetic Epoch {until almost the end of September} and Venus and Mars close to Saturn.
Lunar aspects, however, have been good, as I pointed out yesterday, and so it is wise to keep up with the ordinary things which need to be done and finish as many as you can. The grand trine in earth signs {when the moon is included} mentioned in Monday's report worked out, for one thing, in a remarkable more-than-two-percent rise in the American stock market as well as in China and Europe. I have mentioned already in recent weeks how Jupiter square Pluto leads to stock market speculation {not necessarily a rise in the markets, but rise and fall because "speculation" includes selling as well as buying} and now for the past couple weeks Mars is also square Pluto while opposite Jupiter. This is a classical indication of gambling in astrology. So I would guess the rise in the markets is a sort of gamble. It is paying off now but how long it will pay off is a question. Those who feel they have won the gamble will soon be selling, most likely, and then the markets will go back down.
Whether the rise will continue on Tuesday is the sort of question I refuse to entertain, except hypothetically in my own mind in order to test astrological hypotheses. However, the moon remaining in Taurus will be trining Venus and forming good aspects even to Saturn, Mars, Uranus and Jupiter later in the day and early tomorrow. So there are some helpful influences in the midst of otherwise trying circumstances. By the end of the day you should be feeling good about a few things at least and could enjoy entertainment in the evening.
As you know, I do not give simple reports of "good" or "bad" days. I try to point out all the varying tendencies which seem most important so you can navigate through them yourself. You have to think along with what I write and relate it to your own life in order to benefit or see the clues which probably no one else will see because no one else's circumstances are quite like yours.
Here is a clue: Venus in Virgo is moving toward a conjunction with both Saturn and then Mars in Libra. In simple terms this might mean: You are working out some detailed physical matters, or perhaps technical also {Virgo an earth-Mercury sign} which will prepare you for better or more interesting friendships or relationships {Libra}. There is a road to get there and that includes, now, these physical or technical matters you need to wrap up.
In general, you may be thinking about people more than usual, their habits, their characteristics, their ways of living and of dealing, their importance to you, their way of relating to you, over the coming month. Let's say that this will be interesting and instructive, and not just annoying and disruptive. The latter may be true, but is not most learning somewhat annoying and disruptive? If you work with these reports, your intuition, and your relation to the Supreme One as well as to "people," who merely reflect Him or Her in varying ways, you will come through this period happily and be the better and the wiser at the end.

\Too Much Suspicion? Focus on Simple Needs/

Yesterday was the first day of the Dark Hermetic Epoch. You notice that, as an example, I need to get a new computer. Mercury problems such as that {mechanical or technological} {can't use parentheses either} happen more often during the Dark Epoch {until September twenty-seventh}.
A lot of stuff seems time-wasting. This could be especially true now because for the first half of August Venus and Mars will be close to Saturn, always a planet of delays. However, it is possible to do what is essential. Saturn is separating out for us the essential from the inessential. "For us" because without Saturn we would probably go to the inessential, not realizing that it is harmful or pointless. Saturn says "Forget this, but remember that." She or he forces us to "forget this" by just taking it away sometimes. That requires us to focus on something else that we had been avoiding. Notice how this is playing out in your life.
It could be happening in career areas, and also in the area of love-attractions. Venus conjunct or opposed or squared Saturn is the paradigmatic aspect of lost love, or heartbreak, or poignancy in the affections. "Nobody loves me." Okay, take a deep breath: "Now just get over this." Remembering that G+d loves you and everyone else is one remedy.
Today the moon is in Taurus. Its aspects are not bad. The trine with Pluto on one side and Mercury on the other, grand trine in earth signs, suggests you could focus on earthy material matters and get some of them cleared away. You have been postponing some of them which you could do now. That would feel good. It would open a door for better things to come. Also money, business or investment matters could be handled with intelligence.
Questions of travel or a temporary change of home could get attention. If you feel confused about them, you can still prepare for them tentatively. You might be more definite about them by the middle of September.
Things are starting to feel autumnal, are they not?
One phase of work you are trying to accomplish could be finished, in your home or office, by December.
Something involving a friend or friends, drawn to each other yet wary and uncertain, could be settled by next weekend. This could be partly "no" and partly "yes" but you will feel that it is settled.
As for Mars conjoined to Saturn, very close now, here is what Isabel Hickey the astrologer says: "This aspect can produce inertia. Saturn, fear, holds back Mars's action. Gives poor timing. Needs to face issues and do something about them. Extraordinary capacity for making enemies." Thinking about that should give you a clue. Just going ahead with certain matters you are sure about is important.
Then there is Mars opposed to Jupiter. C.E.O. Carter says: "Discontent and resentment sometimes appear; there may be extremist tendencies in politics." Yes, this aspect was beginning by ten degrees on nine/eleven/oh one. Carter says it is a restless aspect whose energy can manifest in fantasy, plays, writing, the stage or theater, novels and so on. So if you want to read a novel or watch a play or movie you may be working out this aspect in a way which helps you deal with real life. {Would that the perpetrators of the nine-eleven event had confined their angry energy to acting out a drama directed against the great Satan.}
In general, suspicion needs to be watched and considered. The focus of a T square on Pluto in Capricorn {with a total of five planets at either end of it, three opposing two} suggests extreme suspicion in political, business, and international matters. The CIA and spy cases are getting a lot of attention. The proliferation of spy agencies and operatives, not even knowing what one another are doing, in the U.S. bureaucracy, is getting much-needed attention by some critics. Of whom are you suspicious? Paranoia of course is not helpful. Identifying fears and angers or resentments in your own mind and feelings is more important than identifying outward enemies, most likely. Then you can do what is needed to bring order out of chaos in simple ways in your ordinary life. Yes, there is ordinary life, which we need to remind ourselves at times like this.

Yesterday was the first day of the Dark Hermetic Epoch. You notice that, as an example, I need to get a new computer. Mercury problems such as that {mechanical or technological} {can't use parentheses either} happen more often during the Dark Epoch {until September twenty-seventh}.
A lot of stuff seems time-wasting. This could be especially true now because for the first half of August Venus and Mars will be close to Saturn, always a planet of delays. However, it is possible to do what is essential. Saturn is separating out for us the essential from the inessential. "For us" because without Saturn we would probably go to the inessential, not realizing that it is harmful or pointless. Saturn says "Forget this, but remember that." She or he forces us to "forget this" by just taking it away sometimes. That requires us to focus on something else that we had been avoiding. Notice how this is playing out in your life.
It could be happening in career areas, and also in the area of love-attractions. Venus conjunct or opposed or squared Saturn is the paradigmatic aspect of lost love, or heartbreak, or poignancy in the affections. "Nobody loves me." Okay, take a deep breath: "Now just get over this." Remembering that G+d loves you and everyone else is one remedy.
Today the moon is in Taurus. Its aspects are not bad. The trine with Pluto on one side and Mercury on the other, grand trine in earth signs, suggests you could focus on earthy material matters and get some of them cleared away. You have been postponing some of them which you could do now. That would feel good. It would open a door for better things to come. Also money, business or investment matters could be handled with intelligence.
Questions of travel or a temporary change of home could get attention. If you feel confused about them, you can still prepare for them tentatively. You might be more definite about them by the middle of September.

One phase of work you are trying to accomplish could be finished, in your home or office, by December.
Something involving a friend or friends, drawn to each other yet wary and uncertain, could be settled by next weekend. This could be partly "no" and partly "yes" but you will feel that it is settled.
As for Mars conjoined to Saturn, very close now, here is what Isabel Hickey the astrologer says: "This aspect can produce inertia. Saturn, fear, holds back Mars's action. Gives poor timing. Needs to face issues and do something about them. Extraordinary capacity for making enemies." Thinking about that should give you a clue. Just going ahead with certain matters you are sure about is important.
Then there is Mars opposed to Jupiter. C.E.O. Carter says: "Discontent and resentment sometimes appear; there may be extremist tendencies in politics." Yes, this aspect was beginning by ten degrees on nine/eleven/oh one. Carter says it is a restless aspect whose energy can manifest in fantasy, plays, writing, the stage or theater, novels and so on. So if you want to read a novel or watch a play or movie you may be working out this aspect in a way which helps you deal with real life. {Would that the perpetrators of the nine-eleven event had confined their angry energy to acting out a drama directed against the great Satan.}
In general, suspicion needs to be watched and considered. The focus of a T square on Pluto in Capricorn {with a total of five planets at either end of it, three opposing two} suggests extreme suspicion in political, business, and international matters. The CIA and spy cases are getting a lot of attention. The proliferation of spy agencies and operatives, not even knowing what one another are doing, in the U.S. bureaucracy, is getting much-needed attention by some critics. Of whom are you suspicious? Paranoia of course is not helpful. Identifying fears and angers or resentments in your own mind and feelings is more important than identifying outward enemies, most likely. Then you can do what is needed to bring order out of chaos in simple ways in your ordinary life. Yes, there is ordinary life, which we need to remind ourselves at times like this.
