Divergent potentials go on and on, and one could get lost in them. It is good to focus on what is immediately important. It is also wise to avoid quarrels. People are likely to feel antagonistic just because they want to protect their own deeply embedded viewpoints. Quarreling with that will not go down well and could be painful and pointless.
You might feel degraded by someone, or that a door has been closed to you. Failure is not defeat when a lesson has been learned and one deals with painful reactions without hostility.
You are looking for something deep and solid which will protect you from loss. This is doable if you are patient and not in a hurry during this Dark Hermetic Epoch lasting until April 16 (and specially the Mercury Retrograde period at its center until the 28th). Ignorance or uncertainty about some factors need not hinder your certainty about other factors more solidly established in experience.
You can pierce or penetrate into the essence of things and this can be thrilling, "A target pierced by a rapier." The implicit sexuality of these impulses could be dangerous, of course, if misdirected. People want to let down their barriers, or find that others have given them privileged entree to their private worlds, or both.
Attachment and devotion are positive qualities, whether toward family members or friends. You care about those you want to protect from suffering. The resources and abilities needed to do that are yours.
There could be whimsy expressed in friendship, "A child born of an eggshell." The matrix of yourself is individual and unlimited, enfolding your groping self-expressions so that they are safe and do not provoke unwanted reactions from your environment or other human beings.

"Turn to the Lord, your strength,
Seek his presence always."
--Psalm 105
Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out, original version from 1923
