~Heroes In Our Own Minds At Least~

Moon in Cancer-->Leo
|Karmically serious or sobering third| of this week continues (until Sunday forenoon)
/moon goes void-of-course at 11:04a PT | 2:04p ET | 6:04p UT
until it enters Leo at 5:58p PT | 8:58p ET | 12:58a(Su) UT

The senseless killings in New Zealand are a symptom of (1) Mercury retrograde, when some "lose it," (2) the karmically serious third of the week, when there are more crimes and accidents, and (3) Mars and Venus square to each other within three to four degrees, which makes people unusually angry or upset at times, and (4) Mercury and Jupiter in  a square of a degree or less, which accentuates religious differences or biases or hatreds, except in those who are more evolved of course. None of these four "formal causes" need produce killing and hatred  but they sometimes still do while humanity is in its stage of adolescence. As for the better use of those four astral conditions, I try to elucidate that, within my capacities, every day here.

Saturday:  You may hear a lot about presidential candidates or others who want to revolutionize things one way or another.

We need racial or human wisdom, "A finger pointing in an open book," and should not feel humiliated by attending to the instruction of anyone we respect. She or he triggers and confirms our own best judgment.

You may feel that some ambitions are vain and some relationships unfortunate. Still you can be brave, dauntless, just, and faithful. Trying to be heroic in your own mind could make you heroic actually.

Sometimes clinging to someone for help is not a mistake. We all have done it. Some temperaments cling to the Supreme first of all and most of all, and then to whomever the Supreme points out, as a drowning man to a rescuing ship. Also being a rescuer, directly or indirectly, has its own wonderful reward. Being concerned about others revs us up to live beyond our capacities, which expands them.

P. S. I am very impressed by Andrew Yang, a candidate for the presidency, who is promoting what he called a Universal Basic Income of a thousand a month for everyone, and now he prefers to call it a Freedom Dividend. He explains in great detail--he is a brilliant economist--how it can be done and paid for and how it would actually expand the economy for everyone. It would pay you to hear him speak online, there are a lot of videos, I won't look them up right now. Here is one, an interview with Marianne Williamson who is also running for president. I like much of her teaching and her presentation, but not all of it.  https://www.marianne2020.com/video-posts/marianne-williamson-and-andrew-yang-in-conversation

Marianne Williamson really needs to know when to shut up! She ruined this otherwise excellent, important conversation by blabbing on and on, taking 70 per cent of the time of the discussion and letting her guest Andrew Yang get only 30 per cent. Really really bad form and it was bad for her because viewers saw and sensed that and felt her as a relentless harridan egomaniac. She is better than that, I think, and needs to calm down a little instead of shouting at the camera and microphone. Poor Andrew Yang was extremely nice to her, and she was nice to him by inviting him, but she really needed to show more respect to her guest and relax her ego-grip on the conversation.

Apart from that (if you can filter it out) the video is well worth watching and listening to. And yes, you should give a dollar to one of those campaigns (I prefer Andrew's after this) or both of them so they can speak in the Democratic debates. (They each need at least a dollar donation from a certain number of donors to qualify for the debates.) We need to hear from both of them, especially Andrew Yang in my opinion.

Yang is Capricorn and Williamson is Cancer. Those two signs, opposite each other in the zodiac, often get on well together.  During the conversation they agreed to have lunch together while campaigning individually in New Hampshire. That was sweet.
