The intensity of things can be intense, to speak in oxymoron. The sun is squaring Mars, very close, and a couple days ago a friend burned his fingers in the kitchen. Very typical of textbook descriptions of the aspect! Of course usually it is psychological, a burning intensity or impatience or anger. This is modified by the trine between Venus and Mars, still here, so lovers or special friends can overlook their impatience with each other. 

Some play with life, and that is fine; some hurt

Themselves by play that's crass; are crossed by

The other sex and sorrow greatly. Yet pride remains,

And faith in one's inheritance restores mild confidence.

Young men fight, dispute, and test themselves against

One another. Come autumn they will have another viewpoint,

Tact, mellowing information. A burly man wearing an

Apron asserts himself, gives gifts, answers to human longing.

Legacy, ensuring his transactions be prosperous.

An immodest woman jokes with him foolishly; he

Plays with her but brushes her away in time.

A strong castle is enduring, fending off all enemies.

Leaves that fall around it seem prematurely 

Autumnal, but convey impressions of eternal potentials. 

Near the moat on a barren rock a young man weeps.

The cycles impress the young with premature wisdom and frightening maturity. Yet there is nothing to fear for the truly mature. Intimations of eternity can come at any season.
