• Through Distress toward the Circus • "A baneful comet" is "the scourge of nations, a notorious character in the hands of evil powers." This need not be taken literally, yet it is noteworthy that both Sri Aurobindo and Jesus warned against evil entities and influences. Both also pointed out ways of escape through prayer and submission to Deity. Gloom, darkness and distress can be overcome through silent aspiration, prayer and faith. There are also deleterious habits fallen into through weakness. ""A man stands with a tankard in his hand, ready to drink. Two others stand apart, talking together with averted faces." On the other hand, some are like officers on the lookout on the top of a hill, competent strategists either temporally or spiritually. As a corrective for issues of the first paragraph, we have "a triangle with wings" and the keyword Zeal. "A person climbs a rock in a fierce storm. Flashes of lightning reveal a strong figure climbing well." He or she, amid perilous adventures, passes through uncertainty and peril to final success. His or her reward is "a halo of supernal glory bestowed by a fixed star, a transcendental Sun." Brilliant gifts are not understood or appreciated by the present-day world, but their influence will extend to future generations. Meanwhile in "a gigantic tent" we see our experience both steadily and whole, dramatized by the circus, organizing divergent capabilities in a common cause. The keyword is Apportionment.
