Message for Wednesday 11 February 2026 ♤ Turning Point ♤ Lent begins Wednesday February 18th, and a new Chinese Year of the Horse begins at the Aquarian New Moon of Tuesday the 17th. Overriding these is a new Dark or Slow Hermetic Epoch beginning today, February 11th, in the afternoon; continuing until April 8th. This is not bad but calls on us to take it easy and not be impatient when things seem to drift or backslide. Always there is recovery. News which seems depressing can be preparation for something better. Symbols for Wednesday: Virulence. (Poisonous or malignant.) Charubel warns: "Do not follow the dictates of passion nor yield to the desires of thy lower nature, or a short and wretched life could be thy lot. But if by firm resolve thou overcome those elemental promptings, thou wilt pass through the crisis and ensure a long, useful, happy and prosperous life." Enemies. The second symbol is a warning that one could be unmindful of danger, "beset by secret enemies of the worst type." This of course is more likely to play out on the world stage than in the individual lives of those reading this, but it is wise to avoid asking for trouble (as in, for example, protest demonstrations). Indifference. Some sacrifice much for comfort and peace of mind--placid, calm, and inoffensive, they resemble "a chest floating on the open sea." Not weak, they seem so because allowing things to drift. Accomplishment.
